Never should have had one in the first place.

The West Hollywood City Council is voting on whether to seek the removal of President Trump’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the city council is looking to vote Monday night on a resolution that urges the Los Angeles City Council and Hollywood Chamber of Commerce to remove the marker.

The star has been repeatedly vandalized and destroyed twice since Trump took office.

“The City Council will consider adopting a resolution urging the Los Angeles City Council and Hollywood Chamber of Commerce to remove President Donald J. Trump’s star from the Hollywood Walk of Fame, due to his disturbing treatment of women and other actions that do not meet the shared values of the City of West Hollywood, the region, state, and country,” the city council wrote in the resolution.

“Having a ‘star’ on the Walk of Fame is a privilege that is highly sought after by those in the entertainment industry, allowing Mr. Trump to continue to have a star in light of his behavior toward women, particularly in the #timesup and #metoo movements, should not be acceptable in the Hollywood and entertainment industry communities,” the resolution continued.

Apparently, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has said in the past that they would NEVER remove a star from the Walk of Fame, but I doubt seriously if they have ever had a circumstance quite like this one.

For one thing that star is never going to stop being vandalized.

And for another having it there gives a black eye to the entire Hollywood establishment.

There are some great and worthy entertainers celebrated on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, why shame their names by associating them with this racist, sexist, evil POS?

Update: The city council voted to remove the star

Damn, that was fast!

I can hardly wait to see Trump freaking out on Twitter about this.

Why don’t they move the star to the city dump where it belongs. Jimmy Kimmel mentioned that there have been fights every night going on around the star, it sounds like a public nuance.

Watch The Sexy Spy, But Follow The Rubles To NRA’s GOP Campaigns

NRA executives knew Russian money was used to fund multiple GOP campaigns. But nobody cared until sexy Russian spy Maria Butian provided visuals.

“Follow the rubles,” said the modern day Deep Throat. But following money is boring! Who cares if you find the connections between Russia, the NRA and the 2016 elections of Republican politicians and campaign finance law violations?

Luckily we have Maria Butina. Everyone wants to know about her and her leader’s plan to influence the US elections.

Remember your hero, Bill Cosby, how about that great actor Kevin Spacey lol? What about their stars?

Those guys were taken out to the trash. That’s the difference between left and right; we don’t hold on to garbage. Now, go gargle some balls. You know you want to.

You mention 2 stars with creeps names on them. Big deal! There are 2,598 more…. Oh wait. 2,597. Hahahaha!

      • Anonymous August 8, 2018 at 11:43 am

Sure thing Blue Wave (lol), no doubt the rest of the Hollywood elitists are totally clean as a whistle.

Why people get their names on the Hollywood walk of fame, including Trump is beyond me. These people aren’t Gods, most just got lucky or banged the right producer.

But the removal of Trump’s star just because he is ‘hated’ by the left (which is what this is really about), is ridiculous.

All these stupid little stunts are going to pay off big for the Republicans and Trump should he choose to run for a second term. The left is now celebrating basically complete childish and selfish behavior over Trump hatred, and while you might not know it, this crap only emboldens his base and is attracting more into his base, because common sense minded people see all this for what it is, stupid and juvenile.

The Hill needs to update the municipality in this article. The Walk of Fame stars are in Hollywood (part of the City of Los Angeles); West Hollywood is a completely different city.

Having re-read the article I’m going to rescind my suggestion about the municipality. However it makes no sense why one town’s vote would matter to another city.

It doesn’t. Therein lies the stupidity.

I was under the impression that Trump supporters disliked Hollywood because of all those nasty ‘liberal’ elites? You would think they would not want to have their saviour associated in any way with that crowd. They should welcome the fact that his Hollywood star connection will be removed.

The city council already passed the resolution. Now it’s up to the “star” committee or chamber of commerce or whatever. It’s an attractive nuisance and is only going to cause more problems. It’s better they get rid of it. They can replace it with one for Adam West who tried for ten years to get a star before he died.
