Trump worriedly tweets about how unworried he is about the Mueller investigation.

This, of course, is in response to that Washington Post article that claimed Trump was worried about his son having wandered into legal jeopardy.

Trump’s claim in this tweet that he did not know about it could bite him right on his humongous orange ass if there are others who say that he absolutely did know about it.

Of course, this is just on Twitter and not a statement made under oath. And as we know, all Trump does is lie on Twitter.

Wait, here are some more lies!

You have to know that psychiatrists all over the country are studying these tweets and preparing the books they are going to write about the first public presidential mental breakdown recorded via Twitter.

We are living in historic times.

Not in any way good times, but historic nonetheless.

Donald Trump Says Son’s Trump Tower Meeting Was To Get Clinton Dirt But…

Trump Is Losing It Because He Knows His Son May Be Going To Jail

…A former Trump Organization executive said that the claims of the president and his allies that Trump didn’t know about the meeting are not credible. She said it was “impossible” for him to have been kept in the dark about such an important event, because Don Jr. told him everything.

“Impossible, in my opinion, based on my experience working with Trump and everybody that worked with Trump, that he wasn’t informed.” Barbara Res told CNN. “Something major, something newsworthy, something press-worthy would always go before Trump,” she said.

This Major Mueller Court Victory Means Trump is Doomed

…The importance of this ruling cannot be overstated. It takes away the last vestiges of hope that Manafort, Stone, Trump or anyone else who may be charged by the special counsel had that their cases might be thrown out.

Appearing on CNN’s New Day, Stelter suggested that Trump was trying to create a “monopoly” on information by undermining the press.

“He essentially is on a campaign against anyone who represents an independent source of information,” Stelter explained. “The media, Mueller’s investigation, the FBI, the national security apparatus, the congressional budget office, scientists in the case of climate change, I could go on and on. But trump essentially wants a monopoly on information and wants to attack anyone who threatens that monopoly.”

“It’s pretty ugly,” he continued. “Look, he does continue to ratchet it up a little louder every time. I think of it as a verbal form of poison. Slow acting poison. It trickles through the veins and intended to cause people not to trust what they read and see and hear.”

The CNN analyst pointed out that some conservative media serve as propaganda outlets for Trump.

“Largely it’s Fox News and a variety of websites that prop him up and support him almost no matter what,” Stelter said. “He thinks of himself almost as a part of Fox News at this point, at least that’s how he was talking at the rally last night”

“When he says enemy of the people, this is extremist rhetoric, the kind of rhetoric used by Stalin and other dictators many decades ago and has its roots in an ugly part of our shared history on this planet,” he added. “And so the president when he brings that language back and tries to use that language to divide people, it’s going to end up being a sad chapter of his presidency.”

Trust in Trump collapses to its lowest level ever

A new poll shows disaster at nearly every turn for Trump and the Republicans who enable him as the midterm elections get closer.

A new poll has found that American opinions of Trump are down across the board on key issues like his truthfulness, his temperament, and how he has dealt with issues like Russia and immigration.

According to a poll from Priorities USA, Garin-Hart-Yang Research Group, and Global Strategy Group notes the ratings are lower than they have seen “in any of our eleven previous national tracking surveys on the Trump presidency.”

Alarmingly for Trump, among Trump voters who no longer strongly approve him, 47 percent have an unfavorable reaction to his truthfulness, or lack thereof, while by a margin of 35 to 27 percent, they lack the confidence that he has the “integrity and honesty a president should have.”

Trump tells Congress to kick a million poor Americans off food stamps

On Thursday afternoon, as he prepared to leave Washington, DC for a rally in Pennsylvania, Trump tweeted that “When the House and Senate meet on the very important Farm Bill… hopefully they will be able to leave the WORK REQUIREMENTS FOR FOOD STAMPS PROVISION that the House approved. Senate should go to 51 votes!”

The Congressional Budget Office estimates that the House bill will result in 1.2 million fewer Americans receiving Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits by 2028, and that 62 percent of those losing benefits would be parents caring for children.

And the Americans who will lose benefits under the House bill also include 400,000 households that would no longer meet income requirements, regardless of employment status.

But the fact is that many people who receive SNAP benefits already work at low-wage jobs, and many who don’t work are unable to for a variety of reasons — caregiving responsibilities and school, among others — that don’t count as disabilities.

The Republicans’ cruel plan only figures to reduce food stamp spending by two billion dollars a year over 10 years. As Common Dreams points out, that’s just a fraction of the almost two trillion dollar tax cut that Trump gifted to his wealthy supporters.

Gutting food stamps has been a long-term goal of Republicans, and the Trump administration has fairly drooled at the prospect. That’s because welfare reform, particularly food stamps, has long been a staple of racist Republican dog-whistle politics, which have particular appeal to Trump’s supporters.

Mitch McConnell’s sudden “legal troubles.” (With a video)

…But then the wheels fell off of McConnell’s little red tricycle. All at once. And it was a member of his own caucus that unscrewed the lug nuts. Out of nowhere, all of a sudden GOP Arizona Senator Jeff Flake turns up in Zimbabwe of all places, monitoring their alleged first “fair” election since Mugabe flew the coop. Apparently, Flake has an emotional attachment to Zimbabwe, since he did his Mormon mission there many years ago. And if I heard the report correctly, he’s planning to be there for another 2-3 weeks.

    The NRA’s Cry for Help
The heavily armed snowflake says it may just melt if politicians keep saying mean things about it, and properly using laws to regulate its actions.

…”The lawsuit stems from actions taken by New York financial regulators to halt the sale of an illegal, NRA-branded insurance policy,” known as “Carry Guard.”

The policy is theoretically supposed to reimburse NRA members for the legal costs of lawfully firing a firearm. Back in May, the state of New York concluded that Carry Guard “unlawfully provided liability insurance to gun owners for acts of intentional wrongdoing.” Whoops! As a result, the NRA’s insurance partners agreed to stop selling these policies and to pay a $7 million fine.

Trump Fury Over Mueller ‘Conflicts’ Goes Back to Oval Office Meeting

President Donald Trump sat with Robert Mueller in the Oval Office in May of last year to interview him for a job: director of the FBI.

The next afternoon, Trump was in another Oval Office meeting when an aide interrupted with news that Mueller had taken a different post: special counsel to investigate Trump’s campaign.

Trump and Attorney General Jeff Sessions, who attended both meetings, were blindsided, according to a person familiar with both meetings. The president immediately blasted Sessions for not knowing the announcement was coming and challenged how the person he’d just interviewed for the FBI job — and who Trump said had a past dispute with him over golf club fees — could now be investigating him, the person said.

…Sessions was so rattled by the president’s anger in that interrupted Oval Office meeting that he resigned verbally that day and later submitted a formal letter of resignation, according to the person briefed on the meeting.

For a long time Trump has been informed that it is illegal to get information from a foreign country and accept their assistance for your election. He does not want his supporters or voters to know this. I hope he can be impeached before he erodes trust and cons the majority of voters. It does not matter if he makes contradictory statements because it is a tactic to set up people reporting his contradictions condemning them as liars making up false information as “fake news”. Gaslighting is part of this.

Forget Collusion. Conspiracy’s the Watchword in Mueller’s Filings

For a look at how Special Counsel Robert Mueller could tie Russian election interference to American citizens, watch the C-word.

Not coordination or collusion, but conspiracy.

One charge in particular — conspiracy to defraud the U.S. — has cropped up in several of the Mueller team’s major cases. The allegation shows up in filings against former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, as well as in indictments of Russian nationals accused earlier this month of hacking into Democratic Party organizations and election infrastructure. Conspiracy charges are significant because they’re building blocks: Once prosecutors allege a conspiracy, they can add more individuals later.

Trump and his foundation of corruption and liars are the most ignorant bunch of criminals to date in history. We the people have been so polite and giving this nasty bunch of stupid humans all the rope needed to hang themselves. And they have. We await the skinny lady to sing the finale of their most public demise. What kind of idiot represents this chit show? Well there are a parade of them that will be destroyed professionally for doing it. There is NO honor lying for a liar nor committing unethical continued statements as we have witnessed daily from team scumbag trump. The KGB have received their money’s worth from exposing Manafort and trump already. And it aint over. The debt owed to Russia, china and north korea by trumpy bear will be his end and his family and so called friends.

Jay Sekulow Blames ‘Bad Information’ For His False Trump Tower Meeting Statement

Jay Sekulow, an attorney for President Donald Trump, said “bad information” was to blame for a false statement he previously made regarding the infamous Trump Tower meeting in June 2016.

During an appearance Sunday on ABC’s “This Week,” Sekulow brushed off his initial faulty assertion last July that Trump didn’t help craft Donald Trump Jr.’s response to news reports about his meeting with a Russian operative.

“I was in the case at that point, what, a couple of weeks, and there was a lot of information that was gathering,” Sekulow said Sunday. “As my colleague [Trump attorney] Rudy Giuliani said, I had bad information at that time. I made a mistake in my statement. … That happens when you have cases like this.”

…Sekulow had told ABC in July 2017 that Trump “wasn’t involved” in drafting Trump Jr.’s statement downplaying the meeting ― in which he actually sought dirt on his father’s Democratic opponent Hillary Clinton leading up to the 2016 election.

“The president didn’t sign off on anything,” Sekulow had told ABC.

Roughly a month later, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders revealed to reporters that Trump had weighed in on his son’s statement but did not personally dictate it.

But Trump’s legal team contradicted both assertions this January when they told Mueller’s office that Trump had indeed dictated his son’s response.

Sekulow was also asked Sunday when he learned his statement about Trump’s involvement in the Trump Jr. statement wasn’t true. But Sekulow ducked the question, insisting instead that “over time, facts develop.”

MUST WATCH: Trump’s attorney, Jay Sekulow, backtracks on previous lie involving his false statement on the Trump Tower meeting: “I had bad information at that time and made a mistake in my statement … over time facts develop” This is a nice way of saying “my client lied to me.”

Kellyanne Conway And Trump Want To Tell You What You Can Watch and Read In The News

Kellyanne Conway gave some damning insight into how the Trump administration views the role of the free press by claiming they only want the American people to see, “relevant news.”

    Video:

…Kellyanne Conway and Trump are trying control what the media write and report on by imposing a standard of relevancy, but a president and his administration deciding what relevant news is runs contrary to the definition of a free press. Conway was arguing that the only relevant news is pro-Trump news. Stories that might be bad for the president like the Mueller investigation or Michael Cohen investigation should not be covered because in the view of the White House they are not “relevant.”

Relevant news equals pro-Trump news that is the heart of Kellyanne Conway and Trump are demanding from the press.
