Trump telegraphs his punches by saying he will not fire Jeff Sessions until after midterms.

It sounds like somebody has been talking election strategy to the orange-tinted moron.

Courtesy of Bloomberg:

President Donald Trump said Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ job is safe at least until the midterm elections in November.

But the president also blasted Sessions for failing to rein in what he called an “illegal investigation” by Special Counsel Robert Mueller into whether Trump and his campaign aides colluded with Russians in the 2016 election.

“I just would love to have him do a great job,” Trump said Thursday in an Oval Office interview with Bloomberg News. Asked if he’d keep Sessions beyond November, he declined to comment. “I’d love to have him look at the other side,” he said, reiterating calls for Sessions’ Justice Department to investigate Democrat Hillary Clinton and the origins of the Russia probe.

“I do question what is Jeff doing,” Trump said.

Trump also had this to say about a Mueller subpoena:

“I’ll see what happens.”

“I view it differently. I view it as an illegal investigation” because “great scholars” have said that “there never should have been a special counsel,” the president said.

By “great scholars” Trump is literally talking about pundits on Fox News who agree with him that this is a witch hunt.

So, Trump is going to hold onto Sessions until after the midterms and then try to appoint an Attorney General to sabotage the Mueller investigation huh?

Well, that means we need to elect just as many damn Democrats as we possibly can to protect Mueller and his investigators and to make sure that we can see this whole thing to its ultimate conclusion.

Every day Trump makes a complete asshole of himself and no one seems to mind. I mean, meanwhile, what is this White House getting done? Is this all distraction as they get those cattle cars ready for the rest of us? I haven’t had a good night’s sleep since the press made this man and his campaign popular, and since he got elected. I say the press was “complicit” because they gave Trump billions of dollars worth of airtime and now we are stuck with him. And now he attacks the press on a daily basis. And now, he is in pure defense mode and will downgrade any of those that are a threat to him, including those that stumped for him like poor wittle Jeff Sessions who just wanted the South to rise again.

“Patten worked at the Oregon officer of Cambridge Analytica’s parent company, SCL Group, where he helped the data company develop voter targeting operations ahead of the 2014 midterm elections.

The lobbyist described that work on his professional website, saying that he helped conduct beta tests of voter micro-targeting that he boasted were “adopted by at least one major U.S. presidential candidate.”

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) hired Cambridge Analytica during his Republican primary run, but after he dropped out the data company was hired by Donald Trump and his son-in-law Jared Kushner, who oversaw the campaign’s digital operations.

Mueller is investigating the company, which was owned by hedge fund billionaire Robert Mercer.”

“RADicalized,”>”the politicians with the truly nefarious plots are the ones who support and encourage the spread of these heinous stories, which are precisely and intentionally designed to target mentally-vulnerable people. While the conspiracy theory crowd—who predominantly support Donald Trump and crackpot allies like Alex Jones and the shadowy Q—may appear to just be an odd quirk of modern society, the truth is that many of them suffer from psychological illnesses that involve paranoia and delusions, such as schizophrenia, or are prone to them, like those with schizotypy personalities.” “consistently scored high on measures of “odd beliefs and magical thinking.” One feature of magical thinking is a tendency to make connections between things that are actually unrelated in reality.”
“This kind of targeting is exactly what Steve Bannon and the Trump campaign did when they used data from Cambridge Analytica, which the company had gotten from Facebook, to create psychographic profiles of vulnerable voters. And all one has to do is visit alt-right media outlets and discussion boards to see that such manipulation is still going on and is worse than ever.” ” these troubled individuals become online evangelists for their cause, putting great effort into converting psychologically-normal others into conspiracy theorists. To them, it’s a battle between good and evil, and they believe Trump is the former and his political opponents the latter, who are all involved in insidious affairs like pedophilia rings and the “deep state.”
“Mental health is already a major problem in America without politicians and their media allies stirring up the paranoid delusions of those who are mentally at risk. This is not just playing politics, it is damaging psychological abuse that is harming literally millions of people, and it shouldn’t be ignored any longer.”
