Trump blames California wildfires on their environmental policies. WTF?

Wow, that’s a really shitty thing to say.

Not one word of support for the people killed or made homeless by the fire, just a nasty partisan attack against a state full of people who refused to vote for him in 2016.

Courtesy of HuffPo:

The tweet came just days after the Trump administration moved to scrap tough vehicle emissions standards — initially established by California. The move would clear the way for vehicles to pump an additional 600 million metric tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere by 2030. That’s the equivalent of the entire annual emissions of Canada.

It’s unclear what the president meant by water “diverted” into the Pacific. California allocates water among residents, agricultural and industrial use, and for wetlands and wildlife, including water mandated to protect endangered species. But state waters eventually drain into the ocean. As one tweeter responded: “Water running into the Pacific Ocean is called a river.” And firefighters haven’t complained of a lack of water for battling the blazes.

By the way, the reason that most scientists give for the increased number of fires in California is climate change.

You know, that thing that Trump has a hard time believing is true.

But the “fact” that California is suffering a drought because they keep pouring their water into the Pacific ocean, THAT he has no trouble accepting.

So now he is a expert fire fighter, the best fire fighter in the history of the world.

I doubt the fires will be stopped by cutting trees, it the is dry brush that is probable fueling the fires due to the drought and the fact that most of those houses should not have been built in those canyons to begin with.

WATCH: Documentary filmmaker connects the dots between Trump and Russia’s ‘money laundering kingpin’

…Bryan said the first indication that Trump got involved with Russian mobsters came in 1984, when he sold five Trump Tower condos to a Russian mobster named David Bogatin, who was later found to be part of a larger scheme that revolved around buying up properties as a way to launder money.

As Bryan makes clear, this wasn’t just a one-time incident when it comes to Trump’s interactions with Russian mobsters.

“Throughout the ’90s and early 2000s, he starts getting in debt, starts going through bankruptcies, and it seems that 2004 is really the year that Mogilevich and the Russian mob really make the move,” he said. “People associated with the Russian mafia start working within the Trump Organization, and it changes the dynamic of where the money is coming from.”

We have an aquaduct system designed to carry excessive runoff away to prevent flooding. It’s time that system was redesigned to capture runoff and divert it to a still to be built modern reservoir system. We have reservoirs but not enough and the earthen ones need upgrading. That said he’s still a fucking moron and full of shit.
