For the Oct. 15, 2018, TIME cover on the impact of Christine Blasey Ford’s testimony and the significance of her voice, we used Ford’s words to create her portrait. As Haley Sweetland Edwards writes in the accompanying story, “the moment Dr. Christine Blasey Ford walked into the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, raised her right hand and swore to tell the truth, it was clear to millions of Americans that something momentous was about to unfold.”

Using words and phrases from Ford’s testimony, San Francisco-based artist John Mavroudis recreated her likeness by drawing each letter by hand.

It is beyond clear that the testimony of Christien Blasey Ford is going to have a far greater impact on our political landscape than I believe the Republicans or the White House can currently appreciate.

About the Author:

This blog is dedicated to finding the truth, exposing the lies, and holding our politicians and leaders accountable when they fall far short of the promises that they have made to both my fellow Alaskans and the American people.

Kavarape should be on a sex registry list and not a SCOTUS member.

…… I believe the Republicans or the White House can currently appreciate.

They don’t care, if they did there would have been a FULL investigation. All they care about is getting the liar on the Supreme Court. It would be great if the other justices stood up and censured him for perjury during his confirmation hearings.

I believe her and I applaud her courage, if anything it has become clear that other women are not going to come forward after the treatment she received from the republicans, they are still smearing her.

It is also interesting that we haven’t heard anything from Avenati about his client, wonder what he has up his sleeve.

Interesting because in his defense in the Op-ed, he claimed “I was very emotional last Thursday … I said a few things I should not have said,…”

however I thought he said during his testimony that HE WROTE all by himself right after her letter was leaked to the press or something to that effect, so his “emotions” had been brewing for awhile …like since 1990’s

Kavanaugh advances in key Senate vote

Senators voted 51-49 to end debate on Kavanaugh’s nomination, setting up a final vote to confirm Kavanaugh for Saturday afternoon.

It was a dramatic moment on the Senate floor as Kavanaugh did not know even an hour before the vote whether he would muster the 51 votes needed to advance because four undecided senators — Sens. Susan Collins (R-Maine), Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska), Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.), and Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) declined to announce their positions.

Kavanaugh’s nomination got a last-minute boost when Flake, Manchin and Collins voted to end debate on Kavanaugh’s nomination. Manchin was the only Democrat to vote yes.

Murkowski, however, voted against advancing the nomination, the only Republican to do so.

Really ridiculous that such an important vote depends on a few senators.

Collins is a lost cause, If Flake thinks women will forget when he runs for president in 2020, he has a big surprise coming. I don’t get Munchin, he is up 9- 12 points in the race, maybe he really is a republican.

The guy from Montana will be absent, so is turtlehead going to vote for him.

I guess are only hope is to take the senate and house in Nov.

‘they’ve filled many roles: in the corporate world, on campaigns, in unions, in churches, in their own businesses and in the White House. Through all of this, they’ve worked with those who have shaped our country’s history” ” Colored Girls are always focused on the larger goal of “hurrying history” so that every American ― regardless of race, gender or religious background ― can have a seat at the table.”

The ONLY way this entire circus will have any impact is if the Democrats sweep the midterms from the top all the way down to dog catcher. This is a discipline issue. If the Republicans suffer no consequences for their actions they’ll just continue with their hypocrisy, criminality and sedition.

And that bitch Murkowski needs to go. “Present”? WTF Was that? What a mealy mouth vote. Piss on her.

Manchin needs to go. Collins will be gone. CrowdPAC already at $3,287,322 and will easily reach their goal of $4,000,000 before the end of the weekend. Flake needs to know that his vote will result in him NEVER being president of the United States. We don’t need another LIAR in the Oval Office.

As for Pelosi, since she has no interest in impeaching Kavanaugh OR Trump then she should be replaced with someone who will.

It’s the spineless loser Dems that got us here. Continuing with the same leadership won’t change anything. They all need to be replaced with some strong fighters who will protect the people instead of serving Wall St.
