Self identified End Times “prophet” claims that Donald Trump is on a mission from God to “harvest souls.”

Paul McGuire once wrote a book called “Trumpocalypse: The End Times President, a Battle Against the Globalist Elite,” which suggests he’s *slightly* biased in favor of the president. He confirmed that bias once again during an appearance on the Prophecy in the News webcast, where he declared that Trump is a mission from God to “harvest” souls.

“We believe very strongly, to be blunt, that God raised up Donald Trump to give America a divine reprieve,” McGuire said.

According to McGuire, the “globalist elites” are trying to destroy Trump because he poses a threat to their plan to establish a “godless one-world order.”

Getting emotional, McGuire went on to speak about “God’s plan for America” and how the “Bible integrated with our society and politics” has “birthed the most powerful nation in the history of civilization because it was on a foundation of Christianity, not secular humanism or progressivism or Marxism.”

“Now we’ve lost that and God has given us a man who just happens to believe in America, capitalism, free enterprise, he happens to believe in God, he has decency and character,” he continued, speaking of Trump.

“Decency of character,” Donald Trump?”

Now there are those who will claim that this guy is a lunatic and not indicative of the average Trump supporter, but I would argue that he is not that far afield of the average Trumpster.

What’s more is that I would assert that it is this very faith in a supernatural worldview which convinces people to support somebody as clearly flawed as Donald Trump.

This McGuire fellow described Trump as an “imperfect man” divinely chosen to deliver God’s people to salvation.

By making that leap completely away from any sense of logic, these people can rationalize, or excuse, virtually ANYTHING that Trump does so long as they continue to believe that he is ultimately an instrument of God’s will.

There is simply no way to argue against a belief like that with the use of mere facts.

” Conservative evangelicals are celebrating. They have been waiting, to quote the Old Testament book of Esther, “for a time such as this.””
Fea>”published an op-ed detailing why white evangelicals support Donald Trump, calling his fellow Christians “intellectually lazy” for backing the president.

“For the last year I have been thinking deeply about why so many of my fellow evangelical Christians support Donald Trump,” ” the “political playbook” used by conservative evangelicals like Jerry Falwell Sr. “divides rather than unites.”

“But these anxieties extend even deeper into the American past,” 300 years or 3000? “Believe me.”

Why do so many evangelicals believe in Donald Trump? Because they privilege fear over hope, power over humility, and nostalgia over history.”

“Did @rudygiuliani really say on Sunday shows that @michaelcohen212 should cooperate with prosecutors and tell the truth? Seriously? Is that Trump and Giuliani definition of “truth”? Trump/Giuliani next to the word “truth” = oxymoron. Stay tuned. #thetruthmatters”

” Giuliani said on CNN’s “State of the Union.” “I think he’s going to tell the truth, as best he can, given his recollection, and if he does that, we’re home-free.””“The truth will set you free,” “That source added that the interview was Cohen’s “July 4th moment” and showed he was “no longer taking a bullet for you (Trump), no longer a flunky.”

G”accusing special counsel Robert Mueller of running a “tainted” investigation of President Donald Trump and his campaign.” ““Robert Mueller’s investigations brought charges against four ex-Trump advisers, top Trump political advisers, including his former campaign chief, who is now sitting in jail after allegations of witness tampering after his own indictments on fraud, false statements and foreign laundering of money. Yeah, that’s what you call corrupt, Rudy.””
“Scarborough also included Michael Cohen, Ryan Zinke, Trump’s charitable donations scandal, Scott Pruitt’s many scandals, Trump’s hotels, White House lawn sales pitches for Ivanka Trump products, and Wilbur Ross in his comprehensive listing.

“Some, four of Donald Trump’s hand-picked ex-advisers, one of his lawyers, one of his digital marketing strategists, 14 Russian nationalists, three Russian companies and five guilty pleas in all, all connected to Donald Trump, his campaign, his organization, the election of 2016,” “You know, Rudy, there’s so much corruption to go around and you brought this up, you opened the door. And here’s the amazing thing, it’s only a year and a half.”< My thought tOO!

    THE #1 I$$ue ABORTION = labor force.

“some observers now believe that abortion will be the most important issue going into the fall midterm elections.

If Trump picks a conservative jurist who is likely to vote with a majority of other conservatives and overturn the pro-abortion Roe v. Wade opinion then it is clear his decision will have been made to appease evangelical anti-abortion forces who are in the minority in this country.”
“According to Democratic pollster Celinda Lake Republicans’ public discussions about their desire to overturn Roe v. Wade and outlaw abortion through the Supreme Court will be their downfall:

“Our biggest ally here is their own rhetoric because they’re not trying to finesse this in anyway. They’re clear about their agenda. There’s no question it mobilizes more our side. There are a lot more millennial women than born-again Christians who need to be mobilized.””rump and his right-wing supporters are thrilled that he will be choosing a second conservative nominee for the Supreme Court. If his choice energizes Democratic voter turnout and Democrats take over control of the House of Representatives, this will be Trump’s worst nightmare. Adam Schiff and other Democratic committee chairs will start holding hearings on not only Russia but also on the corruption of Donald Trump, his family, and members of his cabinet. If Democrats truly start to “drain the swamp” in Washington then Donald Trump will truly be doomed.”

‘Leonard Leo of the Federalist Society’ “The Federalist Society network is now estimated to include over 70,000 people. In 2016, they reported $25 million in net assets.” “Law and Economics,”

“A Catholic fundamentalist who controls a network of right-wing groups funded by dark money has put three justices on the court. He’s about to get a fourth.” ” in an exclusive interview with The Daily Beast. “He figured out twenty years ago that conservatives had lost the culture war. Abortion, gay rights, contraception—conservatives didn’t have a chance if public opinion prevailed. So they needed to stack the courts.”

Amazingly, said Carter, Leo has succeeded in this mission with few people taking notice.

“The Christian right has been written about a lot, but hardly anyone talks about the Catholic right,” “Four Supreme Court justices—they’re more successful than anybody: the NRA, the Israel lobby, Big Pharma, no one else has had that kind of impact.” “Knights of Malta, a Catholic order founded in the 12th century that functions as a quasi-independent sovereign nation with its own diplomatic corps (separate from the Vatican), United Nations status, and a tremendous amount of money and land.” “As developed by St. Thomas Aquinas and a millennium of subsequent philosophers, everything has its “natural” function and its “unnatural” misuse. Food is for nourishment, not gustatory delight; sex is for procreation, not pleasure; sensual enjoyment is luxuria, a sinful diversion of pleasure from its intended purpose of reproduction.”
“Justice Gorsuch was the speaker at the 2017 Federalist Society gala. And when Gorsuch was asked how he had come to Trump’s attention, he told Congress, “On about December 2, 2016, I was contacted by Leonard Leo” “of the 18 people Trump has nominated to federal appeals courts, 17 are Federalist Society members or affiliates.” another tactic of obfuscation: “a way of saying it’s Heritage’s list and not Federalist Society’s list.” “the Federalist Society has mainstreamed ideas that were once considered intellectual outliers: that most of the New Deal and administrative state are unconstitutional, that corporations have free speech and free religion rights, that women and LGBT people are not “protected classes” under constitutional law, and that there is no right to privacy implied by the due process clause of the Constitution ”

“JCN is also a “social welfare” 501(c)(4) organization, meaning its records are largely hidden from public view, and it utilizes that status to raise and spend dark money in a variety of ways.” The JCN is Leonard Leo’s PR organization—nothing more and nothing less.” “Finally, thanks to a huge $30 million donation made in 2016, Leonard Leo is the most powerful individual at the newly renamed Antonin Scalia School of Law, formerly the George Mason University School of Law.

When the donation was made, all that was stated publicly is that $10 million came from the Koch brothers and $20 million from an anonymous donor brought to the law school by Leonard Leo. This was an obfuscation. Since then, however, it has emerged that the $20 million came from a shell corporation called the BH Fund, of which Leo is president.

In other words, it was money that Leo raised (from a still-unknown source, hiding behind the shell corporation) and donated himself.” ““It’s really quite striking,” Maguire told The Daily Beast. “Someone who orchestrated a secret $1 million contribution to President Trump’s inaugural committee has been given enormous discretion over one of the most important decisions President Trump will ever make, and that same person is central to orchestrating the funding of two dark money groups that will barrage people in certain parts of the country, promoting whoever is ultimately nominated.””Other donors to Leo’s network of organizations include Koch Industries, the Mercer Family Foundation, the Chamber of Commerce, White House counselor Kellyanne Conway and her husband, as well as Chevron, Google, Microsoft, and Pfizer. Are they behind the unaccounted-for $45 million? If not, who is?”

There are some very evil and confused so called religious people today. Never have we witnessed such ignorance. There is no excuse nor reason for this shameful support of a liar and criminal. He is not a on a mission from god nor is it the end of times. It is called a “crime” against American’s. It is a product of the Russian KGB to overthrow democracy and their well deserved sanctions. In the end they will all be gone and locked up. DICKtaters perish under their own rules. Mental illness clearly follows the likes of those hiding behind religion to commit crimes and harm innocent humans. May they rest in peace in their locked prison cell.

Malcolm Nance on Trump: We’re “on the cusp” of “losing the American constitutional republic forever”
Former intelligence officer turned author says Putin is Trump’s “handler” and we’re in a “Benedict Arnold moment”

he crisis that has befallen America under Donald Trump’s presidency is not ripped from the pages of a John le Carré or Jason Matthews spy novel. It is all too real.

The U.S. Senate Intelligence Committee has unanimously endorsed the intelligence community’s conclusion that the Russian government interfered with the 2016 presidential election, with the goal of electing Donald Trump and undermining American democracy.

Former CIA director John Brennan agrees that Vladimir Putin commanded his spies and other agents to assist Donald Trump so that he would defeat Hillary Clinton. Brennan also believes that Putin may be blackmailing Trump as a means of forcing the president to do his bidding.

Justice Department Special Counsel Robert Mueller has indicted numerous people in connection with Russia’s interference in the 2016 presidential election and related criminal behavior.

Trump openly encouraged Putin and his agents to interfere in the 2016 presidential election. Trump continues to publicly praise Putin and make excuses for his apparent efforts to subvert American democracy. Trump now plans to meet privately with Putin later this month. It has been reported that no American advisers or other observers will attend these meetings.

If what now seems apparent is indeed true, Putin has successfully conducted one of the greatest covert operations in modern history. He and his agents have undermined the United States’ standing in the world and apparently now control a president, the Republican Party, and tens of millions of Americans who have embraced authoritarianism and betrayed their own country’s democratic values and institutions.

How was Russia able to accomplish this? Is Donald Trump actively working for Vladimir Putin and Russia, or is he just a “useful idiot”? What social cleavages did Russia exploit in order to do so much damage to the United States? How does Russia’s support of Trump and American fascism fit into a much larger global plan?

In an effort to answer these questions, I recently spoke with Malcolm Nance, a career intelligence and counterterrorism officer for the United States government. In his more than three decades working in that capacity, Nance served with U.S. Special Operations forces, the Department of Homeland Security and other agencies. He has worked in the Middle East, North Africa, the Balkans, South Asia and sub-Saharan Africa. A frequent guest contributor on MSNBC, Nance has authored several books, including the bestselling “The Plot to Hack America: How Putin’s Cyberspies and WikiLeaks Tried to Steal the 2016 Election.”

Nance’s new book is “The Plot to Destroy Democracy: How Putin and His Spies Are Undermining America and Dismantling the West.” This conversation has been edited for clarity and length. A longer version can be heard on my podcast.

More like harvester of bodies, considering his so called policies: no healthcare and polluted air and water.

These people are wacko, trump could care less about his religion and from all his affairs, marriages and disgusting behavior, they truly are mentally deficient if they believe he is a “holy” person.

Evangelicals are terribly frightened children in adult bodies. Their support of an authoritarian ‘daddy’ sent
by Dog makes sense. They are some of the stupidest folks anywhere. They are believers, not thinkers.
Perfect material for a cult. Their belief in the supernatural has absolutely no empirical evidence to back it up.
Trump supporters are primarily superstitious primitives. Guns, the bible, and God is their mantra. The rich
ones are just looking out for the bottom line.

“A judge in California fined the Watchtower Bible & Tract Society of New York, the Witnesses’ corporate nonprofit, more than $2 million last year for refusing to turn over a secretly compiled list of 775 suspected child molesters within the organization.

The Watchtower also has settled multiple lawsuits filed by former members across the country, many of whom claimed that they were sexually abused as children — and that their abusers were protected by elders who enforced the millenarian religion’s rules, like one that requires sexual assault victims to find two eyewitnesses to support their allegations.” At one point during the seminar, Bartlett told the attendees that they should destroy drafts of any documents in their possession. “And the reason is, is because there’s many comments that are sometimes made on drafts,” he said. “Those are the ones that get us in trouble.””

  15. WA Skeptic July 9, 2018 at 8:24 pm

There was a reason why the writers of our Constitution made certain to emphasize the Separation of Church and State; The Reformation had been draining away the money from the established Catholic Church, which meant less power to them and to their collaborators, the crowned heads heads of Europe. At the time of the writing of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States, it had been barely more than 30 years since the disasterous collision between “Bonny Prince Charlie” (funded by the Catholic Church) and the House of Hanover (the Elector George and his descendents), which meant that many of the settlers of the Colonies were defeated Scots. They well remembered the consequences of the meddlings by the Church, and so installed it prominently in our Amendments.

If you choose to give faithful devotion to a particular sect or cult, that’s your business. You do NOT have the right to inflict that devotion on those who do not follow your creeds.

This Nation is founded as a secular nation. Stand by your Constitution, or rue the day you failed to do so.
