Russian media mocks Republican lawmakers after their visit to Moscow.

Well, of course they did.

Courtesy of Raw Story:

Russian broadcasters mocked the Republican lawmakers who visited Moscow over the Fourth of July holiday and gloated about the Kremlin’s role in electing President Donald Trump.

Seven U.S. senators and one congresswoman — Sens. Steve Daines (R-MT), John Hoeven (R-ND), Ron Johnson (R-WI), John Kennedy (R-LA), Jerry Moran (R-KS), Richard Shelby (R-AL), John Thune (R-SD) and Rep. Kay Granger (R-TX) — traveled to Russia for closed-door meetings with high-ranking Kremlin officials.

The Montana Republican, who returned from the trip early to join Trump at a campaign rally in his home state, said the lawmakers asked Russia not to interfere in U.S. elections, respect Ukraine’s sovereignty, work alongside the U.S. for peace in Syria, and follow obligations under nuclear arms treaties.

Kislyak, who is now a member of Russia’s upper house of parliament, wasn’t impressed.

“We heard things we’d heard before, and I think our guests heard rather clearly and distinctly an answer that they already knew — we don’t interfere in American elections,” he said.

(Except, of course, they do interfere in American elections, they just know that these candy asses will not call them on it.)

Russian broadcasters mocked the Republican lawmakers as “weak,” saying their tough talk changed after arriving in Moscow.

“We need to look down at them and say: You came because you needed to, not because we did,” said Russian military expert Igor Korotchenko on state-run television.

Duma member Vyacheslav Nikonov said the meeting with the Republican lawmakers was “one of the easiest ones in my life.”

You have to wonder why any of these idiots would expect the Russians to actually show them respect since they are well aware that they have the president of their country securely in their hip pocket.

I think it is becoming increasingly clear that the Russians have not only made Trump their bitch but perhaps the entire Republican party as well.

Somewhere Ronald Reagan is spinning in his grave like a rotisserie chicken.

‘Also pretty significant tonight — prosecutors are explicitly saying “collusion” won’t come up at trial but that there will be a Trump connection: Steve Calk lending Manafort $16 million to get a job in campaign/White House’

‘#Russia’s state TV shows a clip of Trump saying he’s been preparing for the meeting with Putin his whole life, followed by loud cheers from the audience.
The host adds: “They’re in Montana, which is just forests, fields, mountains & nothing else, so they found him entertaining.”
    ”#Russia’s state TV:
Chairman of Foreign Affairs Comm Konstantin Kosachev says that Trump is convinced that Mueller can’t catch him — only #Manafort.
Therefore, the “red lines” in dealing with Russia that were there at the start of his presidency are no longer holding him back.’

    Prove ~IT~
“Mr. Mueller could subpoena Mr. Trump to answer questions if he does not agree to voluntarily sit for an interview. Mr. Giuliani left open the possibility that the president, who has said in the past that he would be eager to sit down with the special counsel, would still agree to be interviewed.” ““If they can come to us and show us the basis and that it’s legitimate and that they have uncovered something, we can go from there and assess their objectivity,” ”

Look out, Donnie; Mueller doesn’t do anything hastily. You’ll be gutted and spatchcocked when he’s ready to roast you.

ITMFA and convict him. Dump that traitor and all his accomplices. Get all their passports first.

“Upon his arrival, however, Pompeo met with questions about a reported gift from Trump to Kim: an Elton John CD containing “Rocket Man,” autographed by the president. The Chosun Ilbo, a top newspaper in South Korea, reported that Pompeo was instructed to give the CD to Kim as a reflection of “Trump’s expectations that Kim will follow through on the pledges” they agreed upon at the summit.” “During their visit, Trump reportedly discussed the famous song with Kim, according to the Chosun Ilbo. The paper quoted a diplomatic source saying the president asked Kim if he had ever heard “Rocket Man.” Kim said no.

On Friday, Pompeo laughed off reporters’ questions about the CD, neither confirming or denying its existence, and no other media outlet has confirmed the gift.

Twitter, however, was quick to make “Rocket Man” and “Elton John” trending ” ““I don’t really want my music to be involved in anything to do with an American election campaign. I’m British,” the singer told The Guardian that year. “I’ve met Donald Trump, he was very nice to me, it’s nothing personal, his political views are his own, mine are very different, I’m not a Republican in a million years.” “the whole idea of a Trump-autographed “Rocket Man” CD was hilarious.” or NOT.

OT?”The average income in the U.S. was $59K last year. Multiplying this by 646K jobless people yields a LO$$ of $38BILLION
“A study by the Brookings Institute showed that about two million jobs might be at risk as a result of the new tariffs. It is unlikely that all of these positions will be lost, but assuming that one in four of these jobs were to result in layoffs that would leave us with 500,000 jobs eliminated. The tariffs on steel alone were projected to result in 146,000 job LO$$es. The average income in the U.S. was $59,000 last year. Applying this figure to the 646,000 jobless people would yield a total LO$$ of $38 BILLION.
AND THAT would be a direct result of the tariffs.”

I believe that Trump is not the only politician in the pocket of the Russians. I also believe that the Republican silence against Trump’s outrageous behavior is because there is massive blackmail against the phonies in the Republican party. Paul Ryan & Devin Nunes are the first ones who come to mind.

But of course. I mean how do you wiggle out of a history of this. Sunshine! Right?

U.S. Army Now Discharging Immigrants Who Were Promised Citizenship

Yesterday the Associated Press (AP) reported that immigrants who had joined the U.S. Army in exchange for a promise that they could become U.S. citizens are now quietly being discharged from military service by the Trump administration.

The list of people being discharged includes both men and women but the exact number affected by this new policy was not known, according to the AP. It is known, however, that more than 40 active service members who enlisted through the special immigrant recruitment program are being represented by immigration attorneys.

Eligible recruits for the program must have legal status in the U.S., such as a student visa, before enlisting. More than 5,000 immigrants were recruited into the program in 2016, and an estimated 10,000 are currently serving.

The new action by the Trump administration is throwing the future of these service members into complete disarray as their legal status in the United States — and in the Army — has become questionable.

“It was my dream to serve in the military,” said Lucas Calixto from Brazil, who filed a lawsuit last week trying to fight is discharge. “Since this country has been so good to me, I thought it was the least I could do to give back to my adopted country and serve in the United States military.”

Service members who were interviewed said they have not been told why they are being discharged. Others said the Army told them they’d been labeled as security risks because they have relatives abroad or because their background checks were not completed.

There has never been a single fact coming out of the Trump White House/administration that has been a positive for the American people. Don the Con is doing the work of Vladimir Putin, shaming the United States and isolating us from our allies, from our traditions, from our values. The fact that no one in the Republican Party seems to care at all about this must mean that the GOP is either now the “Gullible Old Party” or is a full and equally traitorous partner in it. I suspect that there were Germans who, in the early 1930’s, felt as depressed and shamed as many of us Americans do now. Nothing good is going to come from the Trump years.

Interesting Kislyak, who I believe had many meetings with trump and was present when trump blabbed national security info from Israel, bragging what good info he has, is back in the USSR and member of parliament.

Guess that was his reward to helping snare the traitor donald j trump.
