Rudy Giuliani says Trump will sit down with Mueller but no questions about obstructionism.

I know what my first question would be.

Courtesy of Bloomberg:

President Donald Trump would agree to an interview with Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigators if it’s limited to questions on whether his presidential campaign colluded with Russia in the 2016 election, lawyer Rudy Giuliani said on Monday night.

Trump is demanding in return that he isn’t asked questions about obstruction of justice in the probe into election interference, under a proposal the president’s legal team submitted to Mueller, Giuliani said.

The president’s legal team is concerned that Mueller and his staff might believe witnesses who contradicted Trump’s account, such as former FBI Director James Comey, Giuliani said. That could leave the president vulnerable to a perjury charge, he added.

Mueller hasn’t yet responded to the proposal, Giuliani, a former mayor of New York, said on Monday.

Um….just how dumb is Rudy Giuliani?

This essentially lets Robert Mueller know exactly what Trump is guilty of before he even starts the interview.

There is literally NO WAY that Mueller would not ask Trump about obstructionism now.

Besides that Giuliani must know that Mueller already has the evidence proving what Trump has done wrong, so by making this statement, he is essentially sending a message to the American people that his client is guilty.

Which, by the way, we also already know.

“North Korea is continuing to produce fissile material for nuclear bombs in spite of its pledge to denuclearize, U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said on Wednesday.

Asked at a Senate committee hearing whether this was the case, Pompeo responded to Democratic Senator Ed Markey by saying: “Yes, that’s correct … yes, they continue to produce fissile material.”
“Pompeo declined to respond when asked whether North Korea was continuing to pursue submarine-launched ballistic missiles.”<rawstory

"4 key takeaways from Pompeo's Senate hearing"
On North Korea's nuclear weapons: Pompeo would not say publicly if North Korea is still moving forward with its nuclear program. He told senator he'd answer the question "in a different setting."
On North Korea-US relations: When Sen. Ed Markey expressed concerns that the US was being "taken for a ride" by North Korea, Pompeo quickly responded, saying, "Fear not, senator. Fear not."
On the Trump-Putin summit: Pompeo revealed some of the things that Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin talked about during their summit last week. He said they agreed to establish a business-to-business leadership exchange and talked about reestablishing counterterrorism council, but did not discuss sanctions on Russia.
On Russian election interference: In his opening statement, Pompeo said the President believes Russia interfered in the presidential election: "Finally, I want you to know, President Trump has stated that he accepts our intelligence community's conclusion that Russia meddled in the 2016 election."<CNN

Spotting CNN on a TV Aboard Air Force One, Trump Rages Against Reality

On the first couple’s recent trip overseas, Melania Trump’s television aboard Air Force One was tuned to CNN. President Trump was not pleased.

He raged at his staff for violating a rule that the White House entourage should begin each trip tuned to Fox — his preferred network over what he considers the “fake news” CNN — and caused “a bit of a stir” aboard Air Force One, according to an email obtained by The New York Times. The email, an internal exchange between officials in the White House Military Office and the White House Communications Agency last Thursday, also called for the ordering of two additional televisions to support Beam, a TiVo-like streaming device, to make sure the president and first lady could both watch TV in their separate hotel rooms when they travel.

At the end of the email chain, officials confirmed that tuning the TVs to Fox would be standard operating procedure going forward.

The channel-flipping flap was the latest example of how Mr. Trump, at a pivotal moment in his presidency, is increasingly living in a world of selected information and bending the truth to his own narrative. As his aides work to keep him insulated from the outside world, Mr. Trump is doubling down in his efforts to tell supporters to trust him over the words of critics and news reports.

…“At the end of the day we have good decent Americans listening to not John Quincy Adams or Roosevelt or Eisenhower, but listening to this low-life from Queens talking about paying off his low-lives from Playboy magazine,” Will said on Tuesday’s MSNBC show.

He added that he doesn’t believe that Americans are angry over Trump, but are “embarrassed” and “sad” over the state of the country. “And I think at the end of the day embarrassment and sadness are more explosive than anger,” Will added.

Experts Conclude That Russian Attack Won The Election For Trump

Trump is not a legitimate president

…The numbers are staggering. Russian pro-Trump/anti-Clinton propaganda reached 126 million people on Facebook alone, which is roughly the same number as the number of votes cast for Clinton and Trump. Russian bots reached 1.4 million Twitter users with their disinformation, and 39 states had their voting systems hacked in what experts believed what a Russian effort to get data that they could use to target voters in their attack.

Without the Russians, Trump wouldn’t have won

      #1. The U.S. Supreme Court {ABORTION IS THE I$$UE=LABOR FORCE}

“Trump is nominating severe social conservatives along the lines of Justice Clarence Thomas and the late Antonin Scalia—first Neil Gorsuch (who ultimately replaced Scalia), now Judge Brett Kavanaugh (who is likely to be confirmed given the GOP majority in the U.S. Senate). As “strict constructionists,” Gorsuch and Kavanaugh could attack not only abortion rights, but also, everything from gay rights and same-sex marriage to contraception.”

      2. Lower Federal Court Appointments>Lifetimes>”his judicial imprint will last for decades.”

      3. Taxes>”Robert Reich as trickle-down economics on steroids.”

      4. Environmental Policy>”aggressively promoted fossil fuels over green energy”

      5. Health Care>”Republicans could abolish the ACA via the U.S. Supreme Court should Gorsuch, Kavanaugh and others decide that it’s unconstitutional”

’Why did Giuliani lie?’: Michael Cohen’s lawyer blasts Trump team for getting caught lying — again

…Davis, like Cohen himself, said the former Trump attorney is speaking out now because he’s tired of being “disparaged” by the president and those close to him.

He accused Trump’s lawyer, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, of “inventing words in a transcript that didn’t ever get spoken,” referencing his claim that the president advised Cohen not to use cash to pay former Playboy model Karen McDougal off when many who listen to the newly-leaked tape hear the opposite. To pay cash would have made the transaction harder to trace, whereas cutting a check leaves a paper trail for legal purposes.

“Why did Giuliani lie about Michael Cohen, saying that he’s the one who said ‘cash,’ just as he lied when he said Donald Trump didn’t say [it],” Davis told Stephanopoulos.

“It’s about lies and truth,” he said.

““Maybe you’d like to talk about the 160,000 kids who skip school every day for fear of being bullied, or that 280,000 students are physically attacked in schools every month,” Grisham continued, adding a summer vacation theme to her deflection.

“Seems kind of silly to worry about what channel she watches on TV (any channel she wants BTW) or if she heard some recordings on the news.”
“NEW: I asked @StephGrisham45 whether @FLOTUS had comment on the new Trump/Cohen tape details, and if she indeed was watching @CNN aboard Air Force One, upsetting the president, as @maggieNYT & @katierogers reported last night. ”

‘Mr. Davis is a good lawyer but his client Mr. Cohen is not innocent nor is he a victim. He is a co-conspirator dishonest thug who continues to refuse to come clean & do the right thing. They are playing you & aiming for a pardon. Where is the rest of the evidence & tapes? #Basta’

“Trump talking about paying hush money to a former Playboy model appears to be like evidence of a crime.”
““There is an indication of a fraud. And the significance of that is, if the client and the lawyer discuss the commission of a crime or discuss the commission of a fraud, there is no attorney-client privilege in that conversation, meaning the tape can be used by anybody.”

According to the former judge, McDougal or special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation could use the tape against Trump in court.” ““Civil fraud is when you dupe somebody out of cash for some other purpose” than personal enriching oneself, he remarked. “The other purpose here was to keep the story from being put in the press by lying to her and telling her, ‘We’ll pay you $150,000, you don’t talk to anybody else and we’ll publish your story’ — when they never intended to publish it.”

Napolitano also said that campaign finance laws may have been broken “but that is up to Mueller.”

“[Trump attorney] Rudy Giuliani is right in the fact that there is not a criminal violation,” ”

““I think it’s a very embarrassing and humiliating tape for the president,” he said. “And Giuliani is saying, ‘I can understand what is said on this tape because I listen to mob tapes.’ What, the president is similar to a mob tape?”

Callan then went on to explain how Giuliani’s analysis is actually correct — that is, the Cohen recording sounds similar to recordings of mafia conspiracies.

“In a sense, it is [a mob tape] because it’s describing a payoff,” he said. “Trump knows that a company is being set up to funnel funds, whether they’re in cash or whether they’re by check — for what purpose? To catch and kill a story at the National Enquirer. Context: It sounds like this isn’t the first time this has happened. You don’t hear an elaborate explanation as to why I have to set up a company to do this, so I think it’s very damaging for the president.””

GOP could lose district Trump won by 50 points in deep red state

Republicans are now scrambling to save a House seat in West Virginia.

One of the most pro-Trump House districts in the country, in the most pro-Trump state in the country, is now officially within Democrats’ grasp for November.

On Tuesday, longtime campaign forecaster Larry Sabato moved West Virginia’s 3rd District race between Democrat Richard Ojeda and Republican Carol Miller from “leans Republican” to “toss up.”

The ground in West Virginia is shifting so quickly in Democrats’ favor that this marks the second upgrade Sabato’s Crystal Ball has made to the race in four weeks. So, in just one month’s time, the contest has gone from “likely Republican” to “lean Republican” to “toss up.”

Michael Cohen definitely not ‘taking a bullet’ for Trump anymore

If Trump was clinging to the belief that his longtime confidant and former attorney Michael Cohen might remain loyal to him, those hopes have now been dashed.

“Michael Cohen has made a turn,” his attorney Lanny Davis told Axios on Wednesday. “This is on the record — Michael and I talked about it.”

The “Michael Cohen that you knew — taking a bullet for Donald Trump, saying anything to defend him, being a good soldier…. That is over,” Davis added.

By publicly releasing a secretly recorded conversation he had with Trump on the eve of the election about a hush-money payment, Cohen sent a clear signal that he now poses a major danger to his longtime boss.

Trump is clearly feeling the heat, lashing out this morning on Twitter.

Cohen’s recording of Trump is a warning sign

Michael Avenatti was right: The “#trumptapes” do exist. Michael Cohen, the man who once said he’d be willing to take a bullet for Donald Trump, has now provided perhaps the strongest evidence against him.

…This recent bombshell is even more relevant when combined with what we already know about the hush money payment made to Stormy Daniels, which involved the now-infamously-bungled nondisclosure agreement between Daniels and Essential Consultants LLC, the Delaware limited liability company Cohen created which was used in both the $130,000 payment to Daniels and also implicated in the $1.6 million payment offer to a former Playboy model who allegedly had an affair with top Republican National Committee official Elliott Broidy (he has since resigned).

How many more women are involved in what now seems to be a coordinated pattern and practice on the part of Cohen and Trump to silence women for Trump’s political gain?

Rudy “bad teeth” Giuliani does not get to decide what Mueller can or can’t ask.

Also the fact that he is saying the president can’t be asked about obstruction of justice, is obstruction of justice.
