Republican Georgia state lawmaker literally showed his ass on Sacha Baron Cohen’s show last night.

What the shit?

Courtesy of the Daily Beast:

This past week, Jason Spencer, a Republican state representative from Georgia, revealed that Sacha Baron Cohen had tricked him into shouting “provocative language” during what he thought was a real anti-terrorism training video. Now we know that “provocative language” was the N-word.

The shouting of racial slurs by Spencer, who was recently defeated in a GOP primary after serving four controversial terms, was just one of several unnerving moments from the most outrageous segment in the second episode of Showtime’s Who Is America? Week two of this news-making show also featured former Vice President Dick Cheney signing a “waterboard kit,” Ted Koppel arguing about the size of Donald Trump’s inauguration crowd and The Bachelor’s Corinne Olympios gamely pretending that she helped clean up the Ebola crisis in Africa.

Cohen presented himself as a “not a Massad agent” and tricked this Spencer dipshit into not only screaming the “N” word at the top of his lungs but to also run around with his pants down trying to ward off terrorists with his bare ass.

It was easily the most cringe-worthy thing I have seen since the LAST cringe-inducing episode of this show.

I really thought the highlight would be seeing Dick Cheney tricked into signing that “waterboard kit,” but I was wrong.

I really hate myself for watching this show, but now I can hardly wait to see the Sarah Palin segment, which is guaranteed to be the shit show of all shit shows.

Update: In news that should not surprise anybody there are now calls for this Spencer guy to resign.

Courtesy of The Hill:

Georgia House Speaker David Ralston (R) said in a statement that Spencer’s actions were “reprehensible,” according to the AJC.

“Representative Spencer has disgraced himself and should resign immediately,” Ralston said. “Georgia is better than this.”

Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal (R) said he was “saddened and disgusted” by Spencer’s behavior.

Yeah, I think we can stick a fork in this guy, he is done.

Listen to him whine like a candy ass! Right wingers are such fucking ‘snowflakes’ when they get busted. He claims is was just so paralyzed with fear and wasn’t in his right mind when he participated in the show. BULLSHIT. He relished the whole thing…until he got fully ‘exposed’.

State Rep. Jason Spencer Refuses To Resign After ‘Who Is America?’ Tirade
The Georgia state representative screamed racial epithets and flashed his butt on Sacha Baron Cohen’s show.

Despite widespread condemnation, Spencer told The Washington Post that he “was not thinking clearly nor could I appreciate what I was agreeing to” and that he “will finish the remaining five months at my post and vacate my seat.” Spencer ran for re-election but lost his primary bid in May.

By Republican standards, this should qualify him to run for president.

I was thinking the same thing. If “grab them by the pussy,” “bleeding out of her whatever,” trashing Gold Star parents and mocking a differently-abled reporter doesn’t stop someone from getting to the Oval Office, it’s surprising this was even found noteworthy.

Many have slammed Sasha Baron Cohen for what he has done, but no one forced these individuals to act as they did. Honestly, he is exposing the horrible truth about the Republican party. He simply allows them to be who they really are. If they are so easily fooled by an actor, imagine what a former KBG agent could make them do. The excuse is that these people were “tricked” into saying these things. In my opinion that just makes them look even worse as public officials. If someone can be tricked and is that lacking of critical thought and gullible, they shouldn’t be public servants to begin with.

I was born and raised in GA and still live here. What Spencer did in this video is par for the course for GOP politicians here. Wacky, outrageous, homophobic, racist, bigoted, paranoid, behavior is what gets them elected and helps them retain their positions in the General Assembly. Nothing Spence did surprises me, and those in state government that are now saying that they’re surprised should be ashamed of themselves for lying. I don’t want to hear State Speaker Ralston claiming, “Georgia is better than this.” It isn’t, and he and Gov. Deal know it. All GOP politicians here use divisive tactics to get elected and to govern, and they’ll say anything, no matter how offensive it is to a particular group of citizens, to gain and retain power.

You’re right. Sacha Baron Cohen also trolled Bernie Sanders for this show. You can see the interview on YouTube. Bernie is clearly perplexed during the interview, but doesn’t pull his pants off and do a racist impression of Chinese people.

It isn’t true that comedians never target liberals. What is true is that liberals make less of an ass of themselves, so they’re not as funny.

His pants lowered to bare his buttocks, Georgia state Rep. Jason Spencer scuttled backward at his opponent, who was portraying an Islamic terrorist. “America!” Spencer bellowed. “I will turn you into a homosexual!” he tells the terrorist.

Welcome to the second episode of Sacha Baron Cohen’s Showtime comedy “Who Is America?” The premiere arrived last week on a wave of critical buzz, thanks to a torrent of outraged statements from conservative politicos who’d been fooled by the actor into advocating for the arming of small children.

…Not that Sunday night’s segment with Spencer wasn’t jaw-dropping. The Republican lawmaker believed he was taking part in anti-terrorism training with an Israeli former military officer, Erran Morad (Baron Cohen in heavy, rather obvious makeup). Morad put Spencer through his paces, having him participate in exercises in which he yelled racial slurs as a diversionary tactic, performed an offensive parody of a Chinese tourist, and took an upskirt photo of a person in a burka to check for weaponry.

It was an astonishing display, even for a politician previously best known for threatening a former Democratic state rep — a black woman — that she might “go missing” in the swamp due to her public support for removing Confederate statues.

…Sure, it’s still quite alarming to see lobbyists and congressional representatives eagerly advocate arming kindergartners with stuffed animal guns. In the most successful sketch from the premiere, Morad peddles a program, “Kinder-Guardians,” intended to solve America’s school shooting epidemic by arming schoolchildren as young as four. As a work of entertainment, the segment is masterful ― and it takes the gun debate in a daring direction by pulling in the right-wing fascination with Israel and its military culture.

…The Republicans caught by the Kinder-Guardians trick are defensive and embarrassed, at least for now. Being fooled by a liberal comedian makes them look gullible. But then again, they really weren’t fooled into revealing much that didn’t already exist out in the open.

‘I’m ashamed’: Trump voter admits she got it wrong after ICE deports her daughter-in-law

…In one part of the profile, the AP interviews Steve Stegall’s mother, Shirley Stegall, about whether she regrets voting for Trump in 2016 — and she admits she does.

“I’ve always been proud to be an American,” she said. “But now I’m ashamed.”

Steve Stegall, who did not vote for Trump in 2016, tells the AP that he has grown increasingly intolerant of the president’s supporters, even when they admit that his wife shouldn’t have been deported.

“He’s destroying American lives,” Steve says of the president. “How can you do this? How can you do this to your own American people?”

Letty Stegall, meanwhile, regularly talks with her family over video chat in her new home in Mexico — but she says she deeply misses her family and is baffled as to why she was targeted by ICE for deportation.

Deportations take unique toll on blended American families

It’s almost as if Letty Stegall is there, back home in the United States, beside her daughter to prod her awake for school. When her husband goes to the grocery store, she fusses over the list with him. At the bar she helped run, she still gives regulars a warm welcome, and around the dinner table at night, she beams when she sees what her family managed to cook.

But Stegall’s face only appears on a screen, and her words come in unreliable cell connections and a barrage of texts. Lives once lived together are divided by some 1,600 miles. A woman who married an American and gave birth to an American and who came to think of herself as American, too, is now deported to her native Mexico.

“I wish I was there. That’s all that I want,” she says of her life in Kansas City, Missouri. “I want my family back.”

As the United States takes a harder line on immigration, thousands who called the country home are being forced to go. Often, they leave behind spouses and children with American citizenship and must figure out how to go on with families fractured apart.

I have zero sympathy for Trump voters who are expressing remorse now that his policies are affecting them and others they know.

Trump, for once, was truthful and let people know what he was and what he planned to do. Did these idiots only expect his policies to affect strangers? Stupid.

In a post-credits sequence that some viewers may have missed, he mimed cutting off the penises of what he refers to as “sand-n*ggers” and then eating them. “How are you going to rape children and women without a dick?” he asks with fury in his eyes. Suffice it to say all of this goes well beyond even the lawmakers who were “tricked” into advocating a guns-for-toddlers program in the previous week’s episode.

I couldn’t get through to Jason Spencer, so I called his boss! Please join me!!

    David Ralston
    Speaker of the House
    Georgia House of Representatives

Please flood his office with calls! He needs to make his representative Jason Spencer resign! If Jason Spencer was stupid enough to be duped by a comedian, he is too stupid to be representing the people of Georgia. Jason Spencer’s VM is full, so his boss is the next best option.
