Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) claims he is being “bullied” by former Ohio State wrestlers who accuse the congressman of turning a blind eye to the sexual abuse of hundreds of student-athletes while he worked as the assistant wrestling coach from 1986 to 1994.

According to a CNN report Wednesday, Jordan will contact the Capitol police after receiving emails from one of the wrestlers who has accused Jordan of doing nothing about the sexual abuse by the team doctor, Dr. Richard Strauss.

A source in Jordan’s office told CNN that the emails were threatening because of how many had been sent but provided no other details about why the congressman believes he is being “bullied.”

CNN did report that emails between Ohio State wrestler Michael DiSabato and the congressman obtained by CNN show DiSabato sent Jordan an email on April 24 expressing concerns about the sexual abuse scandal and asked Jordan to help given his knowledge of it. DiSabato told CNN there was no response.

CNN reported that DiSabato has been sending emails for “months” and Jordan didn’t respond because he didn’t want to “encourage the behavior.”

Jordan denies knowing anything about the abuse, telling reporters in Ohio Wednesday, “We knew of no abuse, never heard of abuse. If we had, we would have reported it. If, in fact, there’s problems, we want justice for the people who were victims, obviously, and as I said, we are happy to talk with the folks who are doing the investigation. But the things they said about me just were flat-out not true.”

But investigators counter Jordan, telling the Columbus Dispatch they’ve contacted Jordan and got no response.

So to be clear Jordan is being called out for turning a blind eye to sexual abuse happening right under his nose, and his response to these individuals expressing frustration with his actions is to cry like a little bitch and claim HE is the one being bullied?

And then he even lies about cooperating with investigators?

Clearly, Jim Jordan has something to hide here, and he is terrified that it is going to get out.

P.S. Just before this post was scheduled for publication yet another former wrestler has come forward to say that Jordan is lying about not knowing the athletes were being sexually abused by the team doctor:

A fourth former Ohio State University wrestler came forward Thursday to contradict Rep. Jim Jordan’s claim that he had no idea the wrestling team doctor was molesting athletes.

The wrestler, Shawn Dailey, said he was groped half a dozen times by Dr. Richard Strauss in the mid-1990s, when Jordan was the assistant wrestling coach. Dailey said he was too embarrassed to report the abuse directly to Jordan at the time, but he said Jordan took part in conversations where Strauss’ abuse of many other team members came up.

“I participated with Jimmy and the other wrestlers in locker-room talk about Strauss. We all did,” Dailey, 43, told NBC News, referring to Jordan. “It was very common knowledge in the locker room that if you went to Dr. Strauss for anything, you would have to pull your pants down.”

Yeah, Jordan is fucked.

I hope this lying POS gets everything bad that’s headed his way. He’s built his entire political career on lies and on covering up, and sucking up to, immoral cretins, including himself.

#MeToo hits the male population. Anyone that follows football, not at THE Ohio State!
Not Penn State nor Michigan Stater, either, someone must be lying or paid. Eye roll.

I think you over estimate the power of Me Too with republican politicians (congressmen in particular) they do not care about such things. I think the only way Mr Jordan leaves the House will be getting elected to the Senate or voted out of office. They have no shame these republicans.

I agree with you. Only the voters can get sex scandal-tainted Republicans out of office. And, frequently, their voters keep them in office.

OT FYI ““I’ve been reflecting very carefully on what I remember from that incident almost 20 years ago and, again, I feel, I am confident, I did not act inappropriately,” Trudeau, 46, told reporters in Toronto in televised remarks on Thursday.

Trudeau, citing the increasingly open discussion in society about sexual assault, conceded the woman in question could have come away from the encounter in August 2000 with a very different interpretation of what had happened.

“I do not feel that I acted inappropriately in any way but I respect the fact that someone else might have experienced that differently,” he said. “If I apologized later then it would be because I sensed that she was not entirely comfortable with the interaction we had.””

“CONcocted by the Justice Department to stop him from becoming Speaker of the House. He said that he believes the sexual abuse scandal is not only tied to his run for the speakership but also was a direct result of his grilling of Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein at a Congressional hearing last week.” “So Rosenstein went back 40 yrs & got Jordan’s coworker to molest 2000 boys all to hurt Jordan in 2018.”

“Jordan is a top Trump supporter in the House, and he has repeatedly claimed without evidence that there is a deep state conspiracy in the Department of Justice and FBI that tried to get Hillary Clinton elected. ”

“Jordan, who is a founding member of the conservative House Freedom Caucus, wants to replace Paul Ryan when the House speaker steps down this coming January. ” “Jordan, who can’t pass up a good fake conspiracy, is now claiming that the burgeoning Ohio State scandal is somehow a secret plot to hurt his run at the speakership and to retaliate for his over-the-top questioning of Rosenstein.” Damn, Rosenstein’s good.”

“GOP Rep @Jim_Jordan now says the teen sex scandal is part of a deep-state plot by Deputy AG Rosenstein to derail Jordan’s run at the Speakership.
So Rosenstein went back 40 yrs & got Jordan’s coworker to molest 2000 boys all to hurt Jordan in 2018.
    Damn, Rosenstein’s good.”

“Daily told NBC he is a Republican and donated to Jordan’s first campaign for state representative in 1994, but that he was driven out of wrestling by Strauss’ abuse.

“Jimmy’s a good guy,” Dailey told the network. “But to say that he had no knowledge of it, I would say that’s kind of hurtful.””
““There’s no way unless he’s got dementia or something that he’s got no recollection of what was going on at Ohio State,” Coleman told the Journal. “I have nothing but respect for this man, I love this man, but he knew as far as I’m concerned.””

    Bud Sex?

Trump Defends Jim Jordan Over Ohio State Abuse Allegations
The powerful GOP congressman has been accused of not taking action against alleged sexual abuse that occurred when he coached wrestling at the school.

President Donald Trump on Thursday defended Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), whom at least five wrestlers have claimed turned a blind eye to sexual abuse while he was coaching at Ohio State University.

“I don’t believe them at all,” he told reporters on Air Force One, before a raucous campaign rally in Montana. “I believe him. I believe him 100 percent. No question in my mind.”

A Fifth Wrestler Accuses Jordan Of Lying About Ignorance Of Sexual Abuse

Two more former Ohio State wrestlers came forward Thursday to claim that Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) knew about allegations of rampant sexual abuse carried out by the team doctor while Jordan was the assistant coach, despite his denials.

This brings the total up to five of Jordan’s former wrestlers accusing him of lying.

According to a Thursday NBC report, Shawn Dailey says that he was groped repeatedly by team doctor Richard Strauss in the 1990s. He said that while he was too ashamed to report his experience directly to Jordan, he partook in multiple conversations with Jordan and his teammates during which Strauss’ alleged conduct was discussed.

“I participated with Jimmy and the other wrestlers in locker-room talk about Strauss. We all did,” Dailey told NBC, referring to Jordan. “It was very common knowledge in the locker room that if you went to Dr. Strauss for anything, you would have to pull your pants down.”

…“Dunyasha comes back and tells Jimmy, ‘Seriously, why do I have to pull down my pants for a thumb injury?’” Dailey said. “Jimmy said something to the extent of, ‘If he tried that with me, I would kill him.’”

Daily added that his coming forward is in no way politically motivated, as he is a Republican and has contributed to Jordan’s campaign in the past.

“Jim Jordan is trying to copy the Trump play(BOY)book, but he isn’t Donald Trump, and if this interview is any indication of his defense, he should be preparing to resign from the House.”

THIS>”It’s immoral to remain silent about the truth of an accusation”

“In every way, Jordan’s conduct violates the standards he applies to Comey, Mueller, Rosenstein, and Sessions. He ducked responsibility for offenses that occurred when he was, in effect, the deputy director of the OSU wrestling program. He claims to have known nothing about Strauss’ locker-room behavior, even though Strauss’ locker was next to his. And for months, despite explicit reports from Strauss’ victims, Jordan has kept silent, asking them not to involve him in the story.

A merciful judge might rationalize Jordan’s behavior. Such a judge might speculate that Jordan didn’t understand the seriousness of what Strauss was doing, that Jordan didn’t think of it as abuse, that he forgot the details, or that his reasons for asking to be left out of the story are understandable. But Jordan has never shown that kind of mercy. He insists that such a person should be prosecuted, charged, or forced from office. That is the justice he must now face. ”
