Queen Elizabeth had to show Donald Trump how to walk and he still couldn’t get it.

Did he just step right in front of the Queen of England?

Here is a rather snarky summation of the visit from Slate:

President Donald Trump concluded his rather testy state trip to the UK on Friday with a jaunt to Windsor Castle to meet Queen Elizabeth II. A visit with Great Britain’s longest-serving monarch is a real honor, and there are specific protocols one must follow when in the company of the queen. As America’s highest-ranking former steak salesman, Trump was surely briefed on the proper etiquette. But did he follow it?

Trump arrived at the Windsor grounds via helicopter and was reportedly late. According to the BBC’s list of “do’s and don’ts for meeting the Queen,” punctuality is important and guests should always “arrive before a royal.”

Next, the queen escorted Trump to inspect the Guard of Honour. At this point, Trump somehow got lost in between two rows of royal guards, and Her Majesty had to remind the American head of state about the mechanics of bipedal motion. With a little help, he soon figured it out.

The jetlagged Trump then cut off the queen, much like a New York City tourist might stop abruptly in the middle of the sidewalk to consult the novelty map he’d picked up at M&M’S World in Times Square.

The BBC explains that you must never “turn your back on Her Majesty” as “it is considered rude.”

I am sure that back at home Trump’s deplorable supporters are relishing the fact that he is such an ungainly and clueless baboon.

“Look he refused to walk where she was pointing. America cannot be forced to jump through your hoops of etiquette Britain. MAGA!”

In some twisted way, they are likely convincing themselves that this is how you snub the Illuminati and shame the deep state.

Personally, I am just fucking glad I voted for the qualified candidate.

“Trump’s walk with the Queen: Like ‘wandering up and down a golf course'”
“while Trump raised eyebrows by walking in front of the Queen — he didn’t technically break royal protocol, according to royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams.
That said, Trump still looked like he “might as well have been wandering up and down a golf course,””
“It proves he (Trump) doesn’t bother to rehearse, because the thinks he doesn’t need to.”
On social media, the reaction was incredulous.
“Did Donald Trump just WALK IN FRONT OF THE QUEEN?!?!?!” Halla Mohieddeen wrote on Twitter. T. Dorje posted, “Good grief. Queen Elizabeth pointed to the ground to show Trump where to walk and yet he still stepped and walked in front of her.”

“And while the Queen appeared to inspect her watch while waiting for the Trumps, they were not late, arriving at 5 p.m. on the dot.”

That goes for third wife, too.

Donald Trump, Brexit and the Russians: A dangerous turning point in “World War IV”
Trump’s week of grand spectacle wasn’t as crazy as it looked: Once again, he’s trying to lure his foes into a trap- “A blind chicken finds corn once in a while.” “Mock him at your peril. If you believe for a second that he will be easy to capture or contain or defeat, then you have learned nothing from the last three years of political chaos across the Western world.” philosopher Jean Baudrillard identified as beginning with the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Baudrillard did not live to see the rise of Trump and Trumpism (which may have been merciful), but it certainly fits with his prediction of a system-wide “gigantic abreaction” to Islamic terrorism, a “moral and psychological downturn” in which the Western world’s “ideology of freedom,” which also represented its claim to moral authority, would corrupt itself into “a police-state globalization, a total control, a terror based on ‘law-and-order’ measures.” -“form who knows what sort of alliance with Vladimir Putin — we have arrived, I believe, at a dangerous turning point in the largely invisible history of World War IV. Those of us who imagine a more democratic and egalitarian future are at great moral risk.”
” his one great political skill: He consistently wrong-foots his enemies, putting them on the defensive and making them look like hypocrites — arguably the one thing Trump himself isn’t.
(You can’t be a hypocrite if you don’t believe in anything except your own greatness, and don’t even pretend to.)” “Trump had officially made up with May, and even suggested that this interview with The Sun, Rupert Murdoch’s London tabloid, was somehow “fake news,” despite the existence of an audio recording. The prime minister had no choice but to stand next to the so-called leader of the so-called free world and mouth homilies about the “special relationship” between Britain and the U.S., and the amazing bilateral trade deal that was sure to follow Brexit. Perhaps May wished she could cut Trump’s liver out with a rusty kitchen scissors, or regretted her long-ago decision to go into politics instead of becoming headmistress of a mediocre girls’ school. As you have sown, so shall you reap, Theresa. You’ve been Trumped.”-“A good place to start is by facing the nature of the blind-chicken paradox. Trump often acts as a scouring agent who reveals truths below the surface of conventional politics, even if he doesn’t understand them or uses them in the worst possible ways. “-“In case you haven’t noticed, with Donald Trump the facts don’t much matter, but appearance is everything. Tactics and optics and inflated rhetoric and fanciful, paranoid narratives — that’s his terrain, and on that ground he remains undefeated.”< SO FAR….

If appearance is everything, he does not get it nor care. Swear to God, when he made that comment about how Xi could be president forever is “something we’re looking into,” he was effing serious. God help us all.

King Donald does not take orders from a fake Queen

    • Anonymous July 14, 2018 at 11:35 am

      Hear that, $arah?

    • Beaglemom July 14, 2018 at 3:30 pm

Queen Elizabeth II is anything but a “fake” queen.

I get protocol and stuff, but really, I think it is silly that you can’t turn your back or walk in front of another human. It’s just medieval nonsense.
But since one is supposed to play the game, Drumpf looks like an ignorant murikkkan, yet again.

    • Anonymous July 14, 2018 at 12:41 pm

Put aside the fact that she’s the Queen of England and there are certain protocols for social behavior when interacting with heads of state, royal or not. Stepping in front of a 92-year-old woman and stopping short, nearly causing her to collide with your back, because you don’t give a crap about anyone else besides yourself. is just RUDE!

I’ve seen three-year-olds running to get in line for ice cream who have better manners than this national embarrassment.,

  6. Anonymous July 14, 2018 at 12:22 pm

11:53am. In addition to ignoring protocol, it is just f’ing rude and disrespectful to cut in front of a woman or anyone in their nineties.

  7. Anonymous July 14, 2018 at 1:17 pm

The Queen is in her 90’s. And Trump still can’t respect her title, or her age. Looked like he was close to stepping on her foot! He’d break it, of course, and broken bones are no joke in the elderly.

The pics of other presidents with her show Trump has no clue and no class. I may get some shade, but I love the pic of her and Reagan on horseback. Not a Reagan fan, great pic!

    • Beaglemom July 14, 2018 at 3:32 pm

What if the Queen had invited Don the Con and the third wife to go horseback riding at Windsor? That would have been an interesting photo. Hoisting Don the Con on the back of a large workhorse because it wouldn’t be fair to the horse to allow him to sit atop a riding horse would have been a great moment.

Trump is the epitome of an average crass, crude, rude and disrespectful American traveling abroad. Imagine how obnoxious he was before having staff to prepare him.

  9. Anonymous July 14, 2018 at 4:34 pm

I’m sure the Queen was warned that Trump would be the rudest, crudest, crassist, most clueless tosser she would have the misfortune to have to put up with on her life.

Thankfully the visit was limited to an hour.

    • viv July 14, 2018 at 8:07 pm

The Queen has met some bad people in her time but NONE of them ever stepped all over her like President Dumbass.

  10. viv July 14, 2018 at 8:05 pm

Dickhead thinks ‘reviewing the troops’ means checking them out to make sure they look like BBC soldiers. He was totally clueless, you can tell he has no idea how to behave. What a psychopath.

You know it is funny, for a guy who continually bashes religion (really just christianity though…and for al the ‘suffering’ you blame on religion (atheist here btw)) and it’s protocols, it is kind of surprising that you think someone should essentially ‘bow’ to the Queen and follow all the traditions. Are you really not that familiar with the Monarchs and European conquering of the world?

    • Anonymous July 15, 2018 at 6:35 pm

Give me a break, it is common courtesy. He acted like he owned the place walking all over like some clueless idiot.

If you don’t like protocols, don’t visit the Queen, after all HE WAS THE GUEST and should follow the customs of that country.

That what makes me laugh at him so much, he thinks he has class and he has none, just some dumb clout that made money by scamming others.

I wonder what “hick” stuff he and melanomia pulled off during tea.

Thank you for showing you liberal hypocrisy on full display 6:35.
