Protesters follow Mitch McConnell outside of Kentucky restaurant with chants of “Vote You Out!”

Could not happen to a more deserving asshole.

Courtesy of The Hill:

Protesters confronted Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) as he was leaving a restaurant in his home state on Saturday.

The group threatened to vote McConnell out of office as he walked out of the Bristol Bar & Grille in Louisville and got into his car, The Courier-Journal reported.

Video recordings of the encounter show other demonstrators chanting “Abolish ICE” and “No justice, no peace.”

A protester demanded to know where the migrant children were after being separated from their families.

“Where are the babies, Mitch?” a protester was recorded asking in a video. The comments seemingly come in reference to the thousands of migrant children who were separated from their parents from April to June under the Trump administrations “zero tolerance” policy.

Yeah if you are going to engage in these confrontational tactics I cannot think of too many folks more deserving than Mitch McConnell.

It would not bother me one little bit if he could not have one single meal in peace until the day that he finally leaves office.

OT?”Rudy Giuliani, President Donald Trump’s personal attorney, confirmed on Sunday that the president asked former FBI Director James Comey to give former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn a “break” in the Russia investigation.

While speaking to ABC News host George Stephanopoulos, Giuliani insisted that there was no “incriminating” evidence against the president.”
“Stephanopoulos reminded Giuliani that Comey’s testimony may suggest that Trump obstructed justice by pressuring him to drop the investigation into Flynn.

“His testimony is worth nothing,” Giuliani said. “James Comey never found any evidence of collusion and rules out obstruction by saying the president had a right to fire me. So all the rest of it is just politics. I mean, the reality is Comey in some ways ends up being a good witness for us.”

“How is he a good witness if he’s saying the president was asking him, in his words, to let the investigation go?” the ABC host asked.

“He didn’t direct him to do that,” Giuliani insisted.

“Comey says he took it as direction,” Stephanopoulos countered.

“That’s okay,” Giuliani scoffed. “By that time he had been fired. He said a lot of other things, some of which has turned out to be untrue. The reality is, as a prosecutor, I was told that many times, can you give the man a break, either by his lawyers, his relatives, by friends. You take that into consideration but that doesn’t determine not going forward with it.”

During a 2017 press conference, Trump told New York Times correspondent Peter Baker that he never pressured Comey to go easy on Flynn.

“No, no, next question,” Trump said, dismissing the question.”

““He’s out there to change public opinion, not make legal points so it doesn’t matter how many times he backs the train up over his own feet,” he added.

Sharing a clip of Giuliani admitting he may have been at the notorious Trump Tower meeting — or knew about it — with the lawyer stating, “I was probably there that day — I don’t remember it. Did somebody say something to me? I don’t know. You know what a campaign is like? It’s helter-skelter,” the entire AM Joy panel started laughing.

“This is so incredibly ridiculous. Somebody ought to be at the New York State Bar Association filing a grievance against Rudy Giuliani, ””this is an example of something that likely could end up before the Supreme Court and what do you know? He has a Supreme Court pick coming up Monday.””

Now this>”“No, she didn’t apologize, and she’s actually making it very dangerous, especially very young women like myself,” “I find it funny because many of the people who have been attacked, harassed, assaulted have been conservative women. So where’s the left on this? Where are the feminists who are about female empowerment? TimesUp, MeToo—where are their voices? Because I don’t see them coming out to defend conservative women, as they should, when we are literally being attacked for our beliefs. Where are the feminists?””

conservative women are welcome in the movement. you need to speak out loud and be heard. and don’t be surprise if some women in the movement resent you. you helped this happen by not speaking out when you should have.

” Mar-a-Lago is asking for a pass by the Labor Department to hire 61 workers.” ” Mar-a-Lago, for example, has shown that it has tried to recruit American workers with an ad in the Palm Beach Post “where if they’re interested to apply by fax.” “Oh!” exclaimed Hunt. “I’m sure many people have a fax this day in age.””
