As an Oklahoma state senator Scott Pruitt once introduced a bill giving men “property rights” over fetuses.

Property rights?

Courtesy of Mother Jones:

In 1999, Scott Pruitt, then an Oklahoma state senator, introduced a bill to grant men “property rights” over unborn fetuses, requiring women to obtain the would-be father’s permission before aborting a pregnancy.

Pruitt, now the embattled administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency, submitted the legislation again in 2005.

The bill, which did not pass either time, faded from Pruitt’s political legacy. But the legislation merits new examination as the EPA chief faces down an avalanche of corruption accusations. As HuffPost previously reported, Pruitt’s support from right-wing evangelical Christians, a group that largely opposes abortion, has helped him keep his job amid calls from droves of Democrats and a handful of Republicans to fire the administrator.

You may find this shocking, but let’s be honest if the Republicans thought they could get away with it they would gladly pass legislation that gave them primary control over a woman’s body as well.

These conservative men do not see women as fully functioning equals, deserving of the exact same rights that they enjoy.

They see them as breeders and live in housekeepers, whose main job, as outlined in the Bible, is to be subservient to their man.

There is a reason that the feminist movement took hold in this country, and it is the same reason that conservatives constantly attack it.

Of course Pruitt and the modern GOP would t think that the father should have “property rights” over a fetus but he shouldn’t have to provide support for the pregnant mother or the child born subsequently. In GOP-land, men can have all sorts of “rights” but no “responsibilities.”

P.s.Now this: “MEDDLING”>”Giuliani said that Trump will not agree to be interviewed by Mueller unless the president can see all the documents they have concerning “Spygate.”
““We need all the documents before we can decide whether we are going to do an interview,” Giuliani asserted to the Post.

Previously Giuliani claimed that the president has done nothing improper and is even “eager” to talk to Mueller and his team as part of the special counsel investigation. During the Tuesday interview, however, he said, he won’t make the call on whether Trump will submit to a formal interview with Mueller “until they decide whether they are going to give us the documents or not.””
““They reserved the possibility they might have to interview a few people as a follow up,” the former New York mayor claimed. “But they said they had pretty much finished. This was four weeks ago.”
““They’re only going to get one shot at him. They know that. You look pretty amateurish if you interview him and you don’t have all the facts gathered.””

“Giuliani indicated that he believed that Trump’s tactics concerning Spygate were working as planned.
“As an effective politician, you’re not going to do something that you don’t think is working,” “Spygate — that’s the reason — he’s not just ratcheted it up for no reason. He believes it is working, and he is genuinely upset about it.””<RiiiggghhhttT

“The brand name Bilboa double barreled AR-15 along with other variants of the rifle, was developed and is produced in Israel (and soon to be in the United States) by Silver Shadow. It fires multiple bullets at the same time or in rapid bursts known as “salvo fire.” ”
“Gilboa has since fixed this compliance issue by installing two triggers. Shooters can still fire two rounds off at once, but they have to pull both triggers to do so.”
“These are weapons of war period”
“Shame on the GOP, Trump and other gun advocates for arming white nationalists and other domestic terrorists. “
