NRA spokes-lunatic Ted Nugent refuses to allow guns at his show in Virginia. Wait, what?

Well, that seems….what’s the word again?

Courtesy of WSLS:

Famous rocker Ted Nugent performed in Roanoke on Tuesday night despite protests in the weeks leading up to the show. Nugent is a gun rights supporter and encourages open carry, but his fans were told at the last minute that they were not allowed to bring their guns inside the Berglund Performing Arts Theater.

It was Ted Nugent’s management that made the decision to not allow guns into the show. The Berglund Center said because it is city-owned, it can’t keep guns out unless the performers are the ones who request it, and that it was actually in Nugent’s contract all along, but was in a sub-contract between Nugent and his promoter that wasn’t shared with Berglund Center management until the last minute.

“It happened about five minutes before we opened doors, we had a security meeting before we opened doors and the subject came up and we said, ‘Yes people will be bringing firearms,'” Berglund Center General Manager Robyn Schon said. And Nugent’s people said, “Uh, no, our agreement says no.'”

A long line had gathered outside the doors waiting to get in when security came out and made the announcement that there had been a change in plans. Guns would not be allowed in, pat downs would be performed, and anyone with a gun would be asked to take it to their car.

“Given the things that have happened in nightclubs like the Pulse and what happened in Manchester, (Nugent’s) security people are taking extra precautions,” Schon said. “They are not novices; they are very seasoned people.”

So wait, Mr. “The Only Thing That Stops a Bad Guy with a Gun, is a Good Guy with a Gun,” does not want any good guys with guns in his rock show?

But didn’t he say that the reason there are so many shootings in public places is that liberals keep demanding all of these gun free zones?

So I guess that guns are totally cool and should be allowed in all public places unless those public places have Ted “I’m a Snowflake” Nugent in attendance.

Is that the idea?

And no I did not forget that the RNC convention in 2016 also refused to allow guns, as did a recent NRA rally.

Is anybody else getting the idea that these people are completely full of shit?

Or is that just me?

Facebook photos show Erickson attended the Jan. 31 event alongside both Torshin and Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA). From her Facebook account, Butina liked a photo of the event.”

Top Intel Dem: GOP wouldn’t let us question Russian operative because it might ‘tarnish’ NRA

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) on Thursday claimed that Republicans would not let the House Intelligence Committee interview a woman who has been charged as a Russian agent out of fear that it would “tarnish” the National Rifle Association (NRA).

“We heard credible allegations that the Russians may have been funneling money through the NRA, so yes, we wanted to pursue this, but like many other things, when it got too hot, the Republican reaction was, we don’t want to know, we’d rather not know,” Schiff, the ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, said on CNN’s “New Day.”

Schiff said committee members earlier this year wanted to bring in for testimony Maria Butina, who was indicted earlier this week for conspiring to work for the Russian government by establishing relationships and infiltrating organizations such as the NRA that have influence in U.S. politics.
“The Republicans were unwilling,” Schiff said. “They said, ‘No, we don’t want to have them come in, we don’t want to hear what they have to say.’ They wouldn’t explain why, but it was very clear that anything that might tarnish the NRA, anything that might lead to discoverable evidence that might incriminate the White House or people around the president, they didn’t want to hear.”

Schiff also charged that “even today, as we continue to bring in witnesses, the majority continues to call the witnesses who are coming before our committee and telling them: ‘Do not come in, don’t tell the Democrats anything.’”

From the sounds of it, it might tarnish the GOP, who were the republicans that blocked the interview, the same ones that are colluding with the russians?

I have a feeling if the Democrats take the house and senate in November, there are going to be numerous republicans suddenly “vacationing” in russia on a permanent basis.

More reason to get out and vote!!!

The Donald J. Trump Foundation is now the subject of an investigation by the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance, and state officials say a criminal probe may come as a result, according to a New York Times report. If that does happen, the newspaper said, President Donald Trump may finally have to turn over his tax returns.

“Bristol Palin, the daughter of former Alaska governor Sarah Palin, will star on Teen Mom O.G., TMZ reports.

The younger Palin has three children by two baby daddies, the first of which she had at age 17 when her mother’s political career was at its peak. She divorced the father of that child, a high school hockey player, and then married a former Marine, Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer, who she is now also divorcing.

The would-be second daughter follows in the footsteps of notorious teen mom-turned-porn star Farrah Abraham, who was fired from the show for being “too difficult.”
