New poll shows that 44% of Americans want Congress to impeach Donald Trump.

Only 44%?

Courtesy of The Hill:

A new Axios/Survey Monkey poll released Tuesday reveals 44 percent of respondents want Congress to begin impeachment proceedings against President Trump.

Those surveyed stance on impeachment falls sharply along party lines, with 79 percent of Democrats favoring the move, compared to 49 percent of independents and eight percent of Republicans saying the same.

The poll was conducted following Trump’s longtime personal lawyer Michael Cohen pleading guilty to charges of bank fraud, tax fraud and campaign finance law violations.

Cohen’s campaign finance law violations stem from hush money payments the lawyer arranged during the campaign to women who allegedly had affairs with Trump. Cohen said he made the payments at the direction of “a federal candidate for office,” seemingly implicating the president.

A majority, 64 percent, of Americans believe that Trump ordered Cohen to make the payments.

I have to say that I am surprised that the number looking for impeachment has not yet broken 50%.

I mean seriously, what more needs to happen?

“Democrats hope that Gillum’s victory will inspire the so-called Obama Coalition which includes such groups as minority voters, single women and young voters. If he has any chance of victory it will depend on massive turnout from these groups.”

Maybe Gryphen should go through his bot’s banned list and look how many of his long time posters are on it. Those that have been posting since Palin was announced. No problem with them for a decade and then suddenly they are persona non grata.

‘“Romanian politicians from the current governing coalition that are trying to weaken the rule of law” would use the letter to press their case.

“It is particularly worrying to see business people from a country that has been a pillar in defending the rule of law worldwide acting now in favour of weakening the rule of law in Central and Eastern Europe,”’

OT? Sen. Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) ““This unseemly pay-to-play arrangement raises serious questions of conflict-of-interest, corrupt practices, and potential violations of lobbying disclosure laws,” Duckworth wrote in her letter to Perry.

Haney, a Tennessee real-estate mogul who owns the Bellefonte Nuclear Plant site in Alabama, reached the agreement with Cohen just days before federal agents raided Cohen’s home, office, and hotel room, the Wall Street Journal reported earlier this month.” “According to the Wall Street Journal, federal authorities are also currently investigating whether Cohen engaged in unregistered lobbying in connection with his consulting work for corporate clients after Trump entered the White House. It is unclear if the deal with Haney’s Nuclear Development LLC is part of the investigation into Cohen’s consulting work or if it will be incorporated into the investigation.”

Maybe it is only 44% because some of us would rather they waited until after the midterm elections, right now it would go no where with those lemming republicans controlling the house and senate.

Also I would prefer they waited until after Mueller’s report comes out, then we can have ALL the crimes put out there at one time.

Good luck with that. Those spineless, shortsighted, moron Democrats just FASTRACKED the confirmations of all of Trump’s Federal judge nominees, even the one rated as unqualified. Why? So they could hurry home and campaign. FUCK THEM ALL. These openings are because McConnell dragged his feet and pulled every trick in the book to obstruct all of Obama’s nominations. And what do the Democrats do? They hand him everything he asks for on a silver platter. Feckless whimps. USELESS. What the fuck are they good for? Don’t hold your breath that the Democrats will do anything. They are fucking useless. They won’t impeach Trump. They won’t fight for anything. They will just roll over and play dead, then stick their hands out for donations and ask for you vote in the next election.

But where are the people in their offices and in their faces, shaming them the way the teabaggers did?
