“I was a single mom for a long time, but being married, I’m more lonely now than I’ve ever been,” Bristol tells her now ex-husband, Dakota.
But what really caused their divorce? Although Dakota is in front of the cameras, he doesn’t hold back in explaining why he’s to blame. “I mean, 99% of our problems in this family, in our marriage, is my anxiety and my PTSD, whether you want to believe [it], justify it or not,” Dakota, a former Marine, says. But Bristol can’t bear to hear her former lover be so hard on himself! “I fully take responsibility of becoming cold. And I am sorry,” Bristol admits in the clip. “I’m sorry that I’m that way. I don’t think you deserve to have a wife that’s that way, and I want you to have sense of peace. But I think a divorce is the best thing for our kids.”
Sorry to see Dakota taking the blame again, especially since he made it clear in that ET interview that his PTSD was NOT the main reason that the marriage ended.
On a similar note, I am hearing some rumblings from Wasilla, that there is a lot more going on here than the Teen Mom cameras are catching.
This article states that the divorce was no surprise to either of them and indeed it wasn’t.
I think we all know that the marriage was over before the cameras were invited into their lives and that this whole thing was just a way for Bristol to make money off of yet another failed relationship.
This article also claims that Bristol was the one to file for the divorce, but that is not true.
Dakota actually filed for divorce and did so in order to make sure he did not lose his girls.
I’ll bet money that is also why he agreed to do this show.
I would really like somebody in Wasilla to reach out to me with one or more of the names of the men that Bristol “meets up” with while she is up here visiting.
Like I said there is a lot that the reality show cameras are not catching, but I have heard rumors that more will be revealed on the show, and definitely after the show finishes its first season.
