Will he, or won’t he?

President Donald Trump’s personal attorney, Michael Cohen, has split with the legal team that has shepherded him through a criminal investigation that included a high-profile FBI raid, a source familiar with the change said Wednesday.
The split could signal a shift in legal strategy and comes amid mounting pressure on Cohen as criminal charges could become likely.
The source said Cohen had not yet met with prosecutors to speak about a potential deal, and it’s unclear whether either side is seeking one.
There is tons of speculation as to what this means.

Michael Cohen, President Donald Trump’s longtime confidant and former personal attorney, is likely to cooperate with federal investigators, as his lawyers are expected to leave the case, sources said.
Some have pointed out that Cohen has not yet sat down with the Mueller investigation so talk of a deal is premature, while others point out that the subject of an investigation does not typically meet with investigators until they are ready to bring charges.
Then there is this theory.
Person close to Cohen says he hasn’t flipped yet, “he’s sending up a smoke signal to Trump: I need help.”

So I guess we will just sit and wait for the next shoe to drop.
Will Cohen arrange a meeting with the Mueller team in order to start on his plea deal, or will Trump send him a smoke signal telling him to just hang in there because he has a pardon with his name on it?
