Longtime Trump family friend mentioned in recently revealed tape subpoenaed by grand jury.

This guy knows EVERYTHING, including how much Trump is actually worth.

Allen Weisselberg, a longtime financial gatekeeper for President Donald Trump, has been subpoenaed to testify before a federal grand jury in the criminal probe of Mr. Trump’s former personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, according to people familiar with the investigation.

Mr. Weisselberg is considered a witness in the investigation, the people said. It isn’t known whether he has already appeared before the grand jury or what questions prosecutors of New York’s Southern District have had for him. The date of the subpoena couldn’t be determined.

For decades, Mr. Weisselberg has served as executive vice president and chief financial officer at the Trump Organization, and was once described by a person close to the company as “the most senior person in the organization that’s not a Trump.” After Mr. Trump was elected, he handed control of his financial assets and business interests to his two adult sons and Mr. Weisselberg.

A spokeswoman for the Manhattan U.S. attorney’s office declined to comment. Mr. Weisselberg and a spokeswoman for the Trump Organization didn’t respond to requests for comment.

The subpoena illustrates that investigators are seeking input from Mr. Trump’s closest colleagues in the Trump Organization, particularly those with knowledge of the company’s financial dealings.

This was predicted by just about everybody once they heard Weisselerg’s name on that tape of Trump and Michael Cohen discussing the payoff to Karen McDougal.

I would predict that this subpoena is the one that is going to give Trump the night sweats cine Weisselberg knows literally EVERYTHING about Trump’s finances and business dealings.

Robert Mueller’s witness list for Paul Manafort’s trial includes Bernie Sanders’ campaign strategist Tad Devine

…Last week, however, it was revealed that Devine was mentioned 16 times in the evidence for the Manafort trial. It appears that Devine was in contact with Manafort and an alleged spy for Russia throughout the 2016 election.

The two men worked together nearly 20 years ago for former Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovych and his pro-Kremlin Party of Regions. They were in contact until at least 2014. It’s unclear, however, if the two were still regularly speaking during the 2016 campaign and while Sanders was running against Clinton in the Democratic primary.

Russian bots promoted not only President Donald Trump, but in the Democratic primary, they were advocating for Sen. Bernie Sanders.

…Weisselberg knows where all the proverbial bodies are buried when it comes to Donald Trump’s financial crimes. This is pandora’s box, and this subpoena opens it.

We’re now looking at the Feds obtaining insider testimony about every criminal real estate deal, financial scam, and illegal coverup that Donald Trump has engaged in through the Trump Organization. Trump’s financial “empire” has long been a house of cards and a thinly veiled front for corruption and money laundering – and this testimony could expose it for all to see.

OMG, they look like some homeless folks on vacation in the motherland.

Let’s not forget that Ivanka went on vacation with putin’s girlfriend, who knows what info was exchanged on that trip.

Another House Republican—and Senate candidate!—with potential ties to Russia

…So Blackburn’s finance chairman and likely friend is also the friend of a Russian spy master who worked with Butina to infiltrate the NRA and was the one who got that whole ball rolling. By the way, he was working with Blackburn at least through 2014, two years after he may or may not have introduced Blackburn to Torshin. Got that. Previously, Preston has told ThinkProgress that he “viewed Russian President Vladimir Putin as ‘God-sent’ and a leader whose rise was ‘divine.'”

Ya, you can always find photos of the #TrumpCrimeFamily getting down with their Russian friends they swear they’ve never met before.

Just wait until you see what Vlad has.

Geraldo Rivera Says Cohen Could Pose ‘Significant Threat’ to Trump: Trump Tower Meeting ‘Could be Collusion’

…While discussing the infamous Trump Tower meeting between Donald Trump Jr. and Russians that Michael Cohen reportedly claims the president knew about in advance, Fox News correspondent Geraldo Rivera said the incident “could be collusion” — an admission he made on Donald Trump’s favorite morning show Fox & Friends.

“I think it is a big deal,” Rivera told Fox News host Brian Kilmeade.

“Michael Cohen represents a significant legal threat to the president,” Rivera he continued. “We all have one key person we tell all of our life story to, in President Trump’s case he trusted Michael Cohen, he was his fixer for many years and now I think he has been cut from the Trump team and he’s feeling reckless and he’s even able to do low-down and dirty things like release that tape — that secret tape.”

Witness list for trial of Trump’s former campaign chief released

U.S. Special Counsel Robert Mueller has submitted a list of 35 potential witnesses for the Virginia trial of President Donald Trump’s former campaign chairman Paul Manafort due to begin next Tuesday, court documents filed on Friday showed.

The list included Manafort’s longtime business associate Richard Gates, who was indicted in October at the same time as Manafort. Gates pleaded guilty in February and has been cooperating in Mueller’s probe.

Also on the list was Tad Devine, a consultant who worked with Manafort in Ukraine and served as the chief strategist for Democratic presidential contender Senator Bernie Sanders in 2016. He is assisting federal prosecutors in the case against Manafort.

Manafort has pleaded not guilty to 18 counts of bank and tax fraud and failure to file reports of foreign bank and financial accounts.

Many of the witnesses are executives at banks and financial services firms. The list suggests Mueller plans to use witnesses to corroborate and supplement documentary evidence showing the alleged bank and tax fraud at the heart of the trial in Virginia.

Five of the witnesses, all financial professionals, were identified previously when they were granted immunity to testify.

“Weisselberg will plead the 5th to avoid incriminating himslef, only to be offered a deal if he is willing to talk about where Trump’s money comes from and goes.”
“This is all one piece. Trump’s not a detail person. he i$$ues directives. Allen with the Trump family goes back to when Fred Trump was running the organization.business writer David Cay Johnston explained, before noting Trump’s father had a business partner who was “identified in law enforcement reports as a front for the Gambino and Genovese Mafia families.” “He’s not the focus of this. but he knows where the money went and where the money came in and where it went out, which is critical to understanding what is going on here.””
“Weisselberg is extremely important witness with respect to understanding how the money came into Russia, went into the Trump organization how it was reported, what companies were used to hide that money, who was responsible for that, and then what happened to that money,”-“what those numbers mean and the significance of everything that appears on those returns.””

Poor Mueller. This is worse than shooting fish in a barrel. More like steamrolling fish on a driveway. Boring, plodding work that stinks and the fish never have a chance.
