House Majority leader Kevin McCarthy complains conservatives are being censored only to learn that he does not know how to Twitter.

Poor Kevin McCarthy got his tits in an uproar because he thought big bad old Twitter was not letting him read the juicy Right Wing mouth droppings of Laura Ingraham.

But that was not the case.

Courtesy of Salon:

The California Republican sent a tweet on Friday complaining that conservatives were being censored on Twitter. He ordered Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey to rectify the issue immediately.

Little did McCarthy know at the time of the tweet that a few, simple clicks of a button on his account’s settings would have enabled him to read Laura Ingraham’s tweet. Many fellow Twitter users pointed out to McCarthy that he was unable to view Ingraham’s tweet because he had the “Hide Sensitive Content” setting turned on. So, no, a shadowy conspiracy to hide conservative content was responsible for the censorship.

Of course, McCarthy was so easily convinced that there was a conspiracy against him because the whole GOP is now packed to the brim with tin foil hat wearing conspiracy nuts and talk radio addicts.

However, in reality, it was just that he was a fucking idiot.

Which, by the way, is the other thing the GOP is now packed to the brim with.

    Speaks perfect English!
“Multiple times throughout the speech, as those monitoring the event were quick to point out, Trump referred to CBP as “CBC,”
despite appearing to read the agency’s name directly from a teleprompter.
Trump just thanked “ICE and CBC” in the opening line of his speech.

I’m sure the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation was thrilled to have Don the Con thank the organization.

FYI “The tour will end with a “Fiesta for the Common Good” outside of the Trump-owned Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida. #1 I$$ue IS abortion!

The goal of the October tour is to highlight GOP House members’ support for the $1.2 trillion tax cut law, which is unpopular in public opinion polling.”
“controversial among Catholics – the group’s silence on abortion rights was singled out in Vatican report in 2012 that warned of “radical feminism” influencing American nuns. The group’s support of Obamacare also broke with the nation’s Catholic bishops, who opposed the law for funding abortion.”

Twitter and Facebook are companies. They are allowed to censor or take down any content they want on their sites.

Kevin McCarthy does the Paul-Ryan-“Poor-Saint-Me”-photo pose perfectly. And he has the villainous peprsonality to go along with it too.

“Some right-wing figures say they are planning legal action after PayPal and credit-card companies cut off their fundraising.”
“In a statement on Spencer’s Patreon ban, Mastercard said it sometimes flags “questionable or illegal content.” Patreon, in a series of tweets, wrote that Mastercard “required us” to take down Spencer’s account.

That leaves Spencer, who received the couple of hundred dollars he had already raised on Patreon and said he doesn’t have a Mastercard himself, mulling a lawsuit.

Most of the conservative conversation about tech bias has focused on social media companies, with congressional Republicans holding hearings over what they say are unfair punishments from YouTube and purported “shadow-banning” on Twitter. ”

Brennan ” also compared Trump to the “corrupt, incompetent and narcissistic foreign officials who did whatever they thought was necessary to retain power”
that Brennan studied during his time in the CIA.”
