Oh yeah.

Courtesy of Axios:

Congressional Republicans are getting ready for hell. Axios has obtained a spreadsheet that’s circulated through Republican circles on and off Capitol Hill — including at least one leadership office — that meticulously previews the investigations Democrats will likely launch if they flip the House.

Here are some of the probes it predicts:

President Trump’s tax returns

Trump family businesses — and whether they comply with the Constitution’s emoluments clause, including the Chinese trademark grant to the Trump Organization

Trump’s dealings with Russia, including the president’s preparation for his meeting with Vladimir Putin

The payment to Stephanie Clifford — a.k.a. Stormy Daniels

James Comey’s firing

Trump’s firing of U.S. attorneys

Trump’s proposed transgender ban for the military

Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin’s business dealings

White House staff’s personal email use

Cabinet secretary travel, office expenses, and other misused perks

Discussion of classified information at Mar-a-Lago

Jared Kushner’s ethics law compliance

Dismissal of members of the EPA board of scientific counselors

The travel ban

Family separation policy

Hurricane response in Puerto Rico

Election security and hacking attempts

White House security clearances

Does anybody else need to take a cold shower now?

That reads like progressive political porn.

Just the idea that Trump will be investigated so thoroughly is incredibly gratifying.

I am very interested to see what is revealed, and how that will affect the next election cycle.

You actually believe just because the Democrats have a slight majority in the house and Nancy Pelosi gets her gavel back that any of this will come to fruition?

Trump is going to steamroll the Dems that try any of this and their made for TV talking points. He itches for just such confrontations, loves it.

    You watch.

Democrats do not control Congress now, only the House. It’s an important victory and means that House committees will (as of January 2019) be headed by Democrats. It does not mean that Trump will go. While the House impeaches; the trial is up to the Senate and a GOP Senate will never finish the job with Don the Con. Besides, too many GOP senators are complicit with the Russian collusion in 2015 and 2016. Hopefully Democratic control of the House will protect the ACA, Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid but the Trump/GOP administration will continue to stab these programs a million times a day. Tuesday was an important victory because it broke the dam that protects the Trump administration from much needed scrutiny. It will be interesting to see if the media, always pro-GOP, will help the Democrats or hinder them. Time will tell but we cannot expect miracles. Only pray for them.

The media is pro GOP?! That is completely laughable statement. What backwards world do you live on?

    https://www.politicususa.com/2018/11/08/if-mueller-is-fired-democrats-will-invite-him-for-televised-hearings.html

“Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), who in January will become the new chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, said on MSNBC that Democrats would protect Mueller. “I think that the chances that Bob Mueller will be able to finish his work improved for the reason that our committee and others like the Government Reform Committee and the Judiciary Committee, which under Republican leadership served as basically surrogates for the president in their efforts to batter down the Justice Department, to give the president a pretext … to fire people in the Justice Department, all of that tearing down of the independence of these institutions is going to end,”

Televised Mueller hearings could be the biggest “must see TV” event the country has ever seen.”

It will be a real treat to have such an intelligent man heading the House Intelligence Committee. I really admire Adam Schiff. He understands that Democrats in Congress need to talk to the press at every possible opportunity. I want to see the Sunday interview shows feature some Democrats from now on. They’ve been outlets for the GOP for the last twenty years or more.

Yes I can still hear the tea bags screech……You just wait, we will get even, heads will explode. If democrats are going to investigate lets go back to bitch mcConnel, DICK chaney, scara palin, and others. Lets go back 10yrs when gun shows flourished and energized the militias. The deregulation of assault rifles. And then the likes of sheriff joe nut job arpiro and sheriff Mack of the constitutional sheriffs association. Yep. This little take over was planned in advance and then don john trump came along like toe fungus. Why is sarah so quiet? Did she move to texas?.
