The Warriors arenât visiting the White House during their annual trip to the nationâs capital, but they did visit former President Barack Obama.
A picture surfaced Thursday on social media of almost the entire roster posing with Obama. No coaches were present; just players.
In September 2017, after Golden State won its first NBA title with President Donald Trump in office, Trump tweeted, “Going to the White House is considered a great honor for a championship team. Stephen Curry is hesitating, therefore invitation is withdrawn!”
In lieu of visiting the White House last February, the Warriors toured the National Museum of African American History and Culture with students from Kevin Durantâs hometown of Seat Pleasant, Md. After winning the NBA title again last June, Golden State needed no tweet from Trump to know it wouldnât plan on attending the White House.
Seriously who would blame these guys for wanting to skip a visit with Tangerine Hitler and instead choose to hang with the coolest ex-president ever?
OT What Ann Coulter says about Trump is disturbing: https://www.politicususa.com/2019/01/26/maher-coulter-trump-insane-liar.html
Don’t worry too much about Ann Coulter. She’s an imbecile and way too old for her bleached tresses.
I went into this fully clear-eyed. Again, we liked that about him. ⌠We thought that he wouldnât care about what the elites thought and heâd actually keep his promises on this. ⌠I find his puffery really charming. ⌠It makes me laugh. Thatâs fine. I like that about him. Just keep your promise and Iâm right back in his camp.

Maher then mentioned that Real Time had booked Coulter for next weekâs episode. When the announcement prompted audience boos, Maher said about Coulter, âYeah, thatâs called a newsmaker. A policymaker. Youâll have to suck on that.â
AC/DC: Did you catch when he said, “we can talk about that in bed later?”
They are old (cough) friends in every sense of the word.
The only NBA team I watch and/or follow.
Rumor has it Trump was going to buy KFC. Itâs all his now!
And afterwards, they all went out for a nice steak dinner with beautiful chocolate cake for dessert.
add:2ScoopsVanillaOnTop.
Being invited to the White House used to be an honor.
“Nah, we’d rather hang out HERE,” is perfectly legal.
After McDonald’s Clemson, KFC and watermelon if available?
OT/-“President Donald Trump had an âunusualâ meeting with the wife of a Supreme Court justice, The New York Times reported Saturday.
Virginia âGinniâ Thomas, the wife of Justice Clarence Thomas, requested the meeting while the two were dining with the president and Ivanka Trump.
Ginni Thomas had a list of people she wanted Trump to appoint to his administration.
he was joined at the meeting by a roguesâ gallery of far-right operatives, including anti-immigrant activists Frank Gaffney and Rosemary Jenks along with Connie Hair, the chief of staff to Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX).
Ivanka Trump also attended part of the meeting, during which her father complained of the negative press she receives.
âOne woman in the group argued that women should not serve in the military because they do not have the physical capacity that men do, according to the people familiar with the events,â The Times reported.
The meeting raised eyebrows among White House supporters, with âsome close to Mr. Trump said it was inappropriate for Ms. Thomas to have asked for a meeting with the head of a different branch of government.â
Thomas’ wife has been for a very long time involved with the ALEC and with the Koch brothers and their bizarre billionaire anti-American agenda. She should never have involved herself so much in extremely partisan politics. And he should have been booted off the Supreme Court years ago for his many conflicts of interest. Just another pair of right-wing Republicans milking the system for all its worth.
Besides no one likes cold hamberders. And ann coulter is like sarah palin. A narcisstic bleached has been. She actually is the elite. Bill maher is pussywhipped by her and i refuse to watch his show since he keeps putting her on. Why doesnt he invite rush limbaugh? Because bill isnt fucking Rush, thats why. Bill, lay of the weed. It makes you lax.

Randolph often Tweeted that Trump is a chess player and others in government are playing checkers: âTrump is very intentional. He doesnât make spelling errors. We might not see it right away, but thereâs always a message in his mis-spellings. Heâs a chess player, and always five moves ahead. Itâs important to think critically.â
comments she made on Twitter before her account was made private and inaccessible to the public, just as the reader predicted. That happened shortly after the news broke that Randolph would soon be setting higher education policy in Alaska as a regent.
âBarack Obama. Kindly Fâ- Off. #MAGAâ
Of Michelle Obama, she said, âThat high horse Michelle is on makes her ass look big.â ” âJust a reminder of how bad it was,â Randolph said, âWell, sheâs a he, soâŚ.â
âHereâs the actual facts on the matter, @lisamurkowski. You posturing with a parade of rape victims is doing nothing relevant. Get your shit together. You have completely forgotten who you represent here in Alaska. This will not be forgotten.â
âI have opposed everything you have stood for. I hope you are finished in 2020,â she said of Murkowski. (Murkowski is not up for re-election in 2020.)
âNancy Pelosi is a fruitcake⌠no question.â âLittle Adam Schitt is protesting just a little too loudly, yes?â
Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) said that her colleagues didnât care about the shutdown of the federal government except for when they were going through airport security, the Washington Post reported Saturday.
In a feature about how the GOP was reeling from fallout over the shutdown, Murkowski said that she knew the shutdown was going to be a disaster from the start.
âI came to the conclusion a long time ago that none of these are a good idea,â she said. âWhat I have heard from our conference is a greater number of voices that are saying, âHey, this does not work so well. This is not a tool that we should be using.ââAnd yet, the Post reports Murkowski told reporters that other Republicans ânever really felt the urgencyâ to end the shutdown âexcept perhaps when they were going through airport security.â
âIt was stunning to me,â Murkowski said.
According to previous Washington Post reporting, some GOP senators did scream at Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and Vice President Mike Pence at a luncheon meeting about the shutdown.”
Will Murkowski support legislation to eliminate government shutdowns from the vocabulary of national politics? Shutdowns were invented by the GOP and were inspired by Ronald Reagan’s campaigning in 1980 with the federal government as the biggest villain out there.
It would be nice if some groups that do some good for society get invited to the WH once in awhile, not just these football and basketballs players.
Why bother to go to the White House? You can get a Big Mac anywhere.
About time the shunning of Trump has started.
How many heads of states have visited Trump compared to Obama? Could it be world leaders are also washing their hair that week when Trump invites them for a visit? Aside from Theresa May and Vladimir Putin, who else would bother to go to the White House to meet Trump?
