Okay, that was pretty fucking awesome.

Now I kind of want to move to Denmark.

Mostly because I understand they don’t have anything like Fox News there.

Denmark is about my favorite country in the world even though I don’t speak the language having spent my student years learning French. My first trip there was in 1967 and my most recent trip there was about four years ago. We’ve had Danish friends since 1967 and they are still good friends. They have visited us and we have visited them. For Americans, one of the good things is that Danes speak English. In fact most Danes speak several languages. They are smart and very well educated, their small country is beautiful and clean, their society is innovative. That Fox News bimbo should travel there sometime. But, on second thought, maybe not.

I wonder why the sudden attack on Denmark? Oh, it must be because President Obama is going there to give a speech at a Danish university. Or maybe he’s just been there. Don the Con must have had one of his early morning fits about President Obama having been invited to Denmark. Or maybe Denmark doesn’t want its landscape ruined by one of Don the Con’s golf courses. Who knows?

But why the insane attack on a small European country that has done us NO HARM. The Danes did not affect our election results! The Russians did, or doesn’t the Fox News bimbo know the difference between the two countries.

I’ve never understood why Republicans, with their outdated platform and mean-spirited policies, think that is the best way to govern the supposedly number one country on earth. They do seem threatened by those enlightened nations who are miles ahead of the U.S. when it comes to fair treatment of their own citizens, though.

"Tim McGreevy, CEO of the US Dry Pea and Lentil Council, tells CNBC that there’s a real danger that these countries will start looking toward alternatives to fill their citizens’ demands for soybeans, peas and lentils.

“Canada has a larger pea crop than ours,” “Australia is looking to increase their sales and Russia and Ukraine {CRIMEa} are ramping up their pea production to sell to China.”<$uckass

Those farmers should have been smart enough to see through Don the Con’s bleatings about how much he knew about trade and farming and everything under the sun during his campaign. He said idiotic, meaningless things then. I guess no one was really listening though.

    OT?
On Monday, he criticized world powers in the U.N. Security Council – singling out the United States, Russia and China –
for casting vetoes and preventing resolution of crises or their being referred to the International Criminal Court (ICC).

Americans do not travel enough and it looks like most of us will continue to be ignorant about other countries, customs and governance. What with outrageously high balance school loans, medical debt and sky high mortgages we all can be assured to remain ignorant in these regards and for some of us who watch FOX News scared as hell of the rest of the world.

Yes and the Danes, like most of the Scandinavian countries pay for all those so called “free things” like health care, maternity/paternity leave, day care etc with very high taxes. that was the one complaint I heard when visiting, high taxes.
