Fox and Friends hosts flummoxed when Trump border policy critic shows up instead of pro-ICE Democrat.

Fox & Friends First thought they booked pro-ICE Democratic congressional candidate Ann Kirkpatrick to appear on the show on Monday morning. Instead, they somehow ended up with Barbara L’Italien instead.

After the hosts kicked it to “Kirkpatrick” and asked her to explain why she supports ICE, L’Italien — a Democratic state senator in Massachusetts who is running for Congress — delivered a very different personal message to President Trump.

“Good morning. I’m actually here to speak directly to Donald Trump,” L’Italien began. “I feel that what’s happening at the border is wrong. I’m a mother of four, and I believe that separating kids from their parents is illegal and inhumane.”

“I’m actually Barbara L’Italien, I’m a state senator representing a large immigrant community. I’m running for Congress in Massachusetts,” she continued. “I keep thinking about what we’re putting parents through, imagining how terrifying that must be for those families, imagining how it would feel not knowing if I’d ever see my kids again. We have to stop abducting children and ripping them from their parents’ arms, stop putting kids in cages, and stop making 3-year-old defend themselves in court.”

As you can see the Fox and Friends hosts continue to be confused about who they are interviewing for a full minute and once they get up to speed start throwing out Trump Administrations talking points before pulling the plug entirely.

Think Progress points out that there are still over 2,000 children who have not been reunited with their families.

By the way, this Barbara L’Italien tweeted out the remainder of what she wanted to say before being cut off by Fox News producers.

The L’ITalien people explained that Fox News reached out to them because they confused the campaign with Kirkpatrick’s.

The show staffers knew virtually nothing about Kirkpatrick aside from the fact that she was a Democrat who spoke out in support of ICE, so they were easy to fool.

Personally, I find it rather hilarious.

What Is QAnon? The Craziest Theory of the Trump Era, Explained

From celebrities to the grassroots, the right is obsessed with the idea there is a secret conspiracy where Hillary is headed for Gitmo. Here’s everything you need to know.

Plotters in the deep state tried to shoot down Air Force One and foil President Trump’s North Korea summit. A cabal of global elites, including top figures in Hollywood, the Democratic Party, and the intelligence agencies, are responsible for nearly all the evil in the world. And now Trump is going to fix it all with thousands of sealed indictments, sending the likes of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama straight to Guantanamo Bay.

Or at least that’s how the world is going for the believers of QAnon, the complex pro-Trump conspiracy theory that’s starting to having unpredictable effects in real life. The real news can be bad for Trump, but in QAnon-world, the president and his supporters really are getting sick of winning.

The QAnon Conspiracy Has Stumbled Into Real Life, And It’s Not Going To End Well

On June 15, when he packed his AR-15 and drove an armored vehicle onto the bridge near Hoover Dam, Matthew Wright had a mission. He’d gleaned it from a berserk conspiracy theory that circulates mainly online, and now here he was, offline, near a very real dam, with a not-at-all-virtual rifle.

As he blocked traffic, he held up a sign. “Release the OIG report,” it read. He wanted the same thing that so many others that subscribe to the all-encompassing QAnon conspiracy theory want: some sort of proof of a “deep state” conspiracy, run by the liberal elite and Hollywood, to commit and then cover up an array of atrocities, from child sex trafficking to false-flag shootings. And they thought they would find at least some damning evidence in the Department of Justice’s inspector general report on the FBI’s handling of the Hillary Clinton email investigation.

Jonathan Karl Pans Sean Spicer’s New Book ‘The Briefing’

“…And there began Mr. Spicer’s tenure as one of the most widely scorned press secretaries in history: a briefing on Saturday afternoon during which he scolded the press corps, spat out false statements and left the podium without taking questions.”

Sean Spicer’s New Book Panned By Critics: ‘Littered With Inaccuracies’

“The Briefing isn’t a political memoir, nor is it a work of recent history, nor a tell-all, or tell-anything,” Wemple wrote. “Rather, it is a bumbling effort at gaslighting Americans into doubting what they have seen with their own eyes as far back as June 2015, when Trump announced his candidacy and labeled Mexican immigrants as rapists, beginning a pattern of racist attacks.”

…“Spicer leaves out important context and doubles down on some of the lies he became famous for as press secretary, including his absurd claims about crowd size at Trump’s inauguration,” she wrote. “Spicer has already made his bed — it’s a shame he continues to lie in it.”

“McCain exploded in fury as the studio audience cheered a list of Democratic-Socialist campaign promises, and vowed to keep those political ideas from becoming “normalized.””
“Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez>“She went over her platform:
Medicare for all, fully funded public schools and universities, paid family and sick leave, justice reform, immigration justice, infrastructure overhaul, clean campaign finance, economy of peace, housing as a human right.””

    “The conservative Mc$HAME was furious.

“This makes my head explode,” she said. “I hope Democrats do run a Democratic-Socialist (campaign) because I think you’ll lose spectacularly, and then I’ll look forward to Election Night when I can tell everybody, ‘I told you so,’ if you end up running a radical.””
” some of us do not want to socialism to be normalized in this country.””<Mc$HAME

“Host Ainsley Earhardt interjected to earnestly ask Kruta, “As a conservative, when you’re sitting in that audience or standing in that audience, and you’re listening to that message, how did it make you feel? Were you angry? Were you more drawn to that?”

Kruta replied by saying she “was mostly uncomfortable, because I was surrounded by a group of people who were talking about how they had gotten involved because they were tired of being angry all the time. It seems like so much effort to be angry about everything, instead of to focus on what you could do to change it.”
“Tuesday’s Fox & Friends segment marked the second time in as many days Fox News made self-defeating attempts to attack Ocasio-Cortez for supporting policy ideas that are widely popular.

On Monday — above a chyron reading “DEMS IN DISARRAY?” — Fox Business tweeted out a video clip of Ocasio-Cortez saying, “We will not rest until every person in this country is paid a living wage to lead a dignified life.”
Ocasio-Cortez responded to Fox Business’ tweet by saying, “The fact that paying people enough to live is considered a ‘radical, far-left’ position says more about the current state of our nation’s politics than it does mine.””

tinydjt>I’m very concerned that Russia will be fighting very hard to have an impact on the upcoming Election. Based on the fact that no President has been tougher on Russia than me, they will be pushing very hard for the Democrats. They definitely don’t want Trump!

‘Shares of farm-related companies rose following reports of the financial assistance, which raised the prospect that farmers will have more to spend on tractors and other farm gear.

Deere & Co rose 4 percent in late morning trading, while Caterpillar Inc and AGCO Corp were up nearly 2 percent ahead of the expected announcement. Soybean futures also rose as traders bet farm aid would improve demand, reducing a current surplus supply.’

tinydjt>Tariffs are the greatest! Either a country which has treated the United States unfairly on Trade negotiates a fair deal, or it gets hit with Tariffs. It’s as simple as that – and everybody’s talking! Remember, we are the “piggy bank” that’s being robbed. All will be Great!

” In contrast, the EU and Japan just managed to strike a major trade deal reducing tariffs, including Europe’s 10 percent duty on foreign passenger cars—the very same levy Trump is supposedly trying to make Europe drop by threatening to tax BMWs and Volkwagens at the border. And while reports from the recent G-20 summit suggest the U.S. is apparently having trouble getting any country to bite at its offers for trade negotiations, Europe is in the process of updating a trade deal with Mexico, wrapping up new pacts with Vietnam and Singapore, and negotiating with Australia, Chile, Indonesia, New Zealand, Tunisia, Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, and India. This all suggests that intimidation tactics may not be the best way to get Europe, or anybody, to the bargaining table.”

“Andrew Surabian, a former White House official and current adviser to Trump Jr., tweeted that Guilfoyle’s move was a “win for the entire GOP,” and wrote “Kim is one of the most influential voices in the [Make America Great Again] movement and knows how to light up a crowd.” ”
The Fox News headquarters in New York City has long had a reputation as a workplace where intrigue, backstabbing, and bitter internal feuds run high—an environment resembling that of President Donald Trump’s West Wing, which Fox News now aggressively fawns over.

Fox News and Fox Business talent—like many in the entertainment-news industry at large—have been known to leak against each other to the press. And the networks’ PR staff has, at times, fueled the back-biting.”
“According to sources familiar with the situation, Guilfoyle had long been considering her next career move after Fox News, and had been approached regarding opportunities in Republican politics and pro-Trump advocacy.

Per two sources, the Trump-boosting America First Action super PAC had been discussing hiring her in a senior role since January, long before her relationship with Fox hit the skids. Though no formal announcement has been made yet, it is considered a foregone conclusion by those close to her that she’ll join the America First family, which already features other Trumpworld luminaries such as GOP donor Tommy Hicks, Jr. and former White House press secretary Sean Spicer.

Trump Jr. himself has been involved with the super PAC, and has publicly endorsed it. “This is the only group that I’m giving to,” the president’s son said late last year, according to Politico, after writing a check for America First.”

A Brief, Hilarious History of ‘Fox & Friends’ Getting Punked While Trying to Force a Right-Wing Narrative
Monday wasn’t the first time Trump’s favorite TV show got duped in its haste to coddle viewers with a preordained political narrative.

…That preordained script for a guest was a ripe opportunity for pranksters, and so aspiring comedian and former University of Texas student Max Rice ended up on the show.

“They were so happy that I fit the mold and that I was Caucasian,” Rice told RawStory after the disastrous interview. “They were just casting a part in a show. They were so stupid… I’m a kid messing around.”

For two excruciatingly awkward minutes—punctuated by cringe-inducing moments of silence—Rice confused and enraged host Gretchen Carlson as he made a mockery of the show’s pre-scripted narrative that jobless college kids hated Obama. “’Sup!” he exclaimed upon being introduced before offering non sequitur responses about his supposed conversion to conservative politics.

“It sounds like you’re not being very serious,” Carlson said after Rice claimed his newfound support for Romney came after losing a basketball game to a friend. “Are you being serious about this interview?” she asked as Rice goofed off on-camera, remarking about how “cool” it was to be on TV, eyes darting around the room, taking sips of water from a paper cup.

“I’m not sure that you’re ready for prime time yet,” Carlson said before cutting off the interview altogether.

Then, as now, the show’s need to fulfill a specific right-wing narrative took precedence over proper guest vetting. “[Fox producers] had 10 days to ask for my driver’s license,” Rice explained. “They saw my commencement speech video, but they’re too stupid to realize that if I graduated in 2010, I wouldn’t graduate college until 2014. That’s why I was so awkward in the interview. I wasn’t going to lie.”
