Wanna guess which administration Pete Souza feels was the most honorable?

Courtesy of HuffPo:

Former White House photographer Pete Souza has a new photo book on the way, and it doesn’t take kindly to the new guy in office.

The official shutterbug to presidents Barack Obama and Ronald Reagan, who has made an unofficial career of trolling President Donald Trump, announced Wednesday that his next book, Shade: A Tale of Two Presidents, will debut in October.

“Through my photographs and commentary, SHADE will vividly show where we are as a country contrasted with where we were,” he wrote in an Instagram post that criticized Trump and his administration, which he compared to a “reality game show.”

“Like many of you, I have been distressed by the barrage of lies and hateful comments emanating from the current administration on a daily basis,” he said. “We have a president who clearly does not understand democracy and the rule of law. To him, a critical news story is fake news, and our intelligence agencies are all corrupt.”

You know I had just recently decided that I was all done buying books for a while, but now I will have to revisit that decision because this book sounds quite good.

And damn, Souza’s pictures are just gorgeous.

You are so right Gryphen; those photos are gorgeous. Not only gorgeous, but sincere, genuine, and heart-felt. This is how a “REAL” President conducts himself, unlike the current “reality show” president (emphasis on “small” “p”…). The photo of President Obama embracing that lady after a natural disaster is the most sincere one I have seen. It radiates with genuine warmth and compassion, which, unfortunately, does not exist with puty-baby’s “bitch”. Dammit, I miss that man!!!

Every time I see pictures of this great man I am overwhelmed with a sense of loss.

I would give an actual limb to have him back leading our country again.

“Hitler should’ve gassed N*&&ers” ” ‘Get out of here you little stinking n*&&er,’” Porter told FBI agents during his arrest, which was recorded on body camera video. “I said, ‘I got something for you,’ and I come out, and I held my Zap Cane out, RIGHT?
And [the father] walked up against it, and it went against his chest.” “See, Hitler had the RIGHT idea, the wrong people,” Porter told FBI agents. “Should’ve gassed N*&&ers.”
“He asked the agent if he was a “white trash N*&&er LOVER,” “I don’t respect them — they’re not human.”
“The president of the NAACP’s Salt Lake City branch called the sentence a “slap on the wrist,” and federal prosecutors were disappointed that Porter would be released so soon.

“It seems like he hasn’t heard a thing,” said Dave Backman, criminal chief of the U.S. Attorney’s Office. “It was painful to sit there through the sentencing, and to hear what he had to say. He is obviously racist, and we’re very concerned that he has not learned from this.”
“It’s sad & disheartening. Mr. Porter is a violent and hateful individual who has deep rooted erroneous beliefs. We hope that no one else becomes a victim at the hands of Mr. Porter in the future.””

Gryphen, do you know who the official White House photographer is for the current administration? None other than Shealah Craighead, the woman who shadowed Sarah Palin throughout the 2 months Palin did her “Rogue” thing in 2008, and after Palin quit, took thousands of pix during Palin’s book tours. and

There’s apparently nothing special about either her current job or her current photographs.

      Yep, I knew that.

OT? “against America’s first black president — rolling coal. Drivers spend hundreds or thousands of dollars retrofitting their trucks so they can blanket cyclists, motorists, and pedestrians with thick, black clouds of exhaust.” “drivers publish videos of themselves rolling coal on Black Lives Matter protesters.” “Researchers have thoroughly investigated the link between ideology and attitudes toward climate change, finding that conservatives are significantly more likely to reject climate science. This is not because they misapprehend the facts, but because they are taking their cues from conservative elites, many of whom have close ties to the fossil fuel industry.” “Controlling for age, ideology, and education, he found that white Republicans who scored high on racial resentment were significantly more likely than those who scored low to say that climate change isn’t happening or that humans aren’t the cause.”
