I thought you should all know this.

The U.S. Marshals Service says a Pennsylvania man accused of threatening President Donald Trump and law enforcement officials has been arrested in Ohio.

They say Shawn Richard Christy was arrested at 4:45 p.m. Friday in Mifflin Township, near Columbus, by marshals and task force members from Ohio and Pennsylvania.

A federal warrant was issued June 19 for the 27-year-old McAdoo man in connection to Facebook posts threatening to shoot Trump and a district attorney in Pennsylvania. Officials say he also threatened a police chief.

Pennsylvania warrants issued for Christy allege burglary, probation violation and failure to appear for an aggravated assault case.

Authorities say Christy stole a truck Sunday from the area of McAdoo, Pennsylvania, and fled after abandoning it Sunday on Interstate 71 in the Mansfield area, about 65 miles north of Columbus.

In 2010, former Alaska governor Sarah Palin took out a restraining order against Christy, claiming he had been threatening her since the previous year. The order prevented Christy from coming within one mile of Palin, a friend of Palin’s and their families.

Shawn and his father Craig Christy were both arrested in 2011 on charges they made harassing phone calls to an attorney for Palin. They pleaded guilty.

Some of you long time visitors may remember that I actually spoke with Shawn Christy way back in 2011 by phone and on Facebook when he was accused of threatening to rape Willow, an allegation that he fervently denied.

I found Christy believable back then, but since that time his mental health seems to have declined significantly.

Which has to make us wonder if he was always mentally unhinged, or if his interactions with the Palin family pushed him over the edge?

Not a question that I can answer.

The Palins probably fucked with his head rather than ignore and report him.

Funny how the human mind works. I’m 73, retired, living in rural Virginia, with time on my hands. Occasionally, I have trouble sleeping, which seems to be a common complaint of us old folks.

So, last night, after tossing and turning, I got up around 1:00 AM, read several chapters of “House of Trump, House of Putin,” then, cranked up the computer and surfed the ‘net.

Out of curiosity, I searched for “Teen Mom OG,” Bristol’s latest entry into the “reality show” world. I found Teen Mom OG and, as my grandchildren would say “OMG!!!”

Talk about bizarre !!! Here’s a link to the Wikipedia article with summaries of the lives of the young women on the show. Bristol will fit right in.

The show is most popular in rural Kentucky, huh, Bristol isn’t liked in Kentucky. Well, anything for a buck as long as there’s no actual work involved.

OT-FYI James Woods has been locked out of his Twitter account after the social media company said a tweet he posted earlier this year violated its rules.

‘“If you want to kill my free speech, man up and slit my throat with a knife, don’t smother me with a pillow,”’

In September 2017, Amber Tamblyn wrote an open letter to Woods accusing him of predatory behavior towards her when she was 16. Woods denied the story. The same month, actress Katie Aselton said that she also had “a James Woods story” from when she was 19 years old, asking “how many of us are there?” In November 2017, actress Elizabeth Perkins, at a #MeToo rally, accused Woods of sexual misconduct.
