Donald Trump signs executive order to end policy that he put into place in the first place.

President Donald Trump on Wednesday reversed his debunked argument that he had no authority to stop separations of undocumented immigrant families at the border, signing an executive order to keep parents and kids together.

“We’re signing an executive order. I consider it to be a very important executive order. It’s about keeping families together, while at the same time being sure we have a very powerful, very strong border,” Trump said.

Trump’s climbdown came after he faced intense pressure from across the political spectrum and from religious, political and world leaders to halt the separations, which produced days of heartrending news coverage of crying children — some of whom were kept in cage-like detention centers.

The President claimed, though, that he isn’t backing down.

“The border is just as tough. But we do want to keep families together,” Trump said in the Oval Office. “We are keeping the family together.”

It is worth noting that earlier Trump had claimed that the policy was the Democrat’s fault (It isn’t.), that there was a law (There wasn’t.), and that this could not be solved with a simple executive order (Which he just signed today.)

In short, Donald Trump created this crisis, lied about it for weeks, and is now attempting to paint himself as a hero for ending it.

Also, keep in mind that this new order does nothing to end the zero-tolerance policy, talks about “indefinite” detention for people simply crossing the border, and does not offer a clear methodology for reunited the families that have already been torn apart.

This is simply kabuki theater and nothing more.

Check out Ivanka’s tweet to her dad thanking him for ending the policy. It’s a doozy. She’s starting to act like her obnoxious brothers more and more.

I also found it very weird that Melania spoke out against the separations. When has a first lady ever publicly expressed dissent against her own husband’s policy? I think it’s great that she did it, but I was really surprised by that.

No thanks. Check out what he signed and absolutely NO plan to reunite those kids babies to almost grown.
Melania had to say something as she came up for air security guard boyfriend New York. That’s WORK, honey, but pleasurable.
Has she invited Bristol to dinner yet?

The statement purportedly by the third wife on Sunday about the separation of children from their families at the border was issued by the White House. It was a publicity stunt on behalf of the third wife. Remember that Laura Bush’s op-ed appeared on Sunday too. It was getting too obvious that all the first wives were concerned about the matter. Photos of the third wife sitting stonily in the Oval Office yesterday do not indicate that she was concerned one way or another. I don’t think she knows enough to care. I also think she’s a little concerned that someone might question her bona fides in coming to the US. She’s on shaky ground there.

As for Ivanka, she’s a fake anyway. I don’t think she cares about anyone except herself. She’s Trump’s daughter after all.

I read something today, maybe a link from this board, that our Fabulous First Lady used the good and bad on both sides line that hubby used in Charlottesville. Better she had said nothing than give any support at all to our Monster in Chief.

The moral of that story is: STAND UP TO TERRORISTS!
Because, let there be no doubt about it: this WAS terrorism by President Trump.

Now iss he going to require that the hostages personally thank him? why should he get any credit for fixing the fiasco he created in the first place. Of course the fact that he LIED and said he couldn’t fix it, then turns around and makes an appearance to fix it, is totally lost on his supporters.

From what I have heard and read, this E.O. may even be illegal, it does nothing to reunite the children already in baby prisons, probable because they didn’t bother to keep track of any of them because they never had any intentions of reunited the families.

So to get back at Congress, little donnie canceled their annual picnic and he flew off for a ego boosting rally in MN, where he congratulated himself for re-opening NASA and whined that no one calls him an elitist because he has a bigger apt than any one else.

By the way, I sure hope they are putting really big plaques on each detention center and baby prison: Donald J Trump baby prison. We want to make sure he gets credit for them.

More evidence that trump is an evil, mentally ill creature
White House reporter reveals Trump thought jailing babies would be a culture war win like NFL bashing
President Donald Trump believed that ripping apart immigrant families and jailing babies would be a winning political issue for him, but instead the horrific policy blew up in his face.

Jonathan Lemire, the White House correspondent for the Associated Press, told MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” that Trump enacted the policy — which he later blamed on Democrats — to intentionally ignite another political firestorm.
“In our reporting, he was telling people around him that he thought this would be a good cultural war, kind of victory here, akin to the NFL players kneeling for the national anthem,” Lemire said………

If little donnie thinks this disaster is going away, he if going to get a rude awakening, not only did they give the parents one case number and the children a different one, so they can’t be matched. they parents were not given the info on their kids case numbers.
……“At another hearing before a different judge, as one of my colleagues asked the agent on the stand about the whereabouts of my client’s child, the prosecutor objected to the relevance of the questions,” Hanshew wrote. “The judge turned on the prosecutor, demanding to know why this wasn’t relevant.”

The judge eventually had enough of the agent’s evasions and the prosecutor’s disinterest in reuniting the parent and child.

“At one point, (the judge) slammed his hand on the desk, sending a pen flying,” Hanshew wrote. “This type of emotional display is unheard of in federal court. I can’t understand this, the judge said. If someone at the jail takes your wallet, they give you a receipt. They take your kids, and you get nothing? Not even a slip of paper?”

Now that trump lost the first round and we know he can’t handle losing, what disaster is he going to create to get the attention off of the child concentration camps?
