A new billboard in Colorado is criticizing Republicans by displaying the word “GOP,” but replacing the “O” with a Soviet-era hammer and sickle.

The billboard, located in Grand Junction, was created and put up by liberal blogger and author Anne Landman, local paper The Daily Sentinel reported Friday.

Landman told the newspaper that she put up the billboard after President Trump’s widely criticized press conference with Russian President Vladimir Putin, during which the president refused to criticize Russia and sided with Putin’s denials of election interference.

“The things he did and said, trusting Putin over the conclusions of all of our own country’s intelligence agencies, blaming Americans for Russian cyber attacks on our election, making secret agreements, offering to consider handing Americans over to Putin’s intelligence agents to be interrogated, it was just unbelievable,” Landman told the Sentinel.

Landman said she initially paid $265 to put up the billboard for a week, but has since received $1,696 in donations and plans to put the sign in two other places.

I love to see my fellow bloggers causing a stir and calling out the Republican party for its bullshit.

And it’s not like this is even remotely far from the truth.

With the Republicans refusing to help shore up our defenses against cyber attacks, sabotaging the Mueller investigation at every turn, and some of the GOP House members spending the 4th of July in Moscow, what the hell are we supposed to think?

Um, pretty sure that this was through the MadDog Pac and True Facts Stated, ie, Claude Taylor.

Will Bristol be taking some of her Teen Momwhore OG money and paying for the billboard’s continued run, perhaps?

” “Everything is based in Washington and China… we have no control on that, but the markets keep going down. If this continues, there are gonna be some people who don’t continue to farm, and that would be sad.”

All of the farmers interviewed said they voted for Trump.

“I’m a good American, I believe that we all have to tow the line,” said another farmer. “Am I willing to take my lumps for the benefit of the entire country? Yes, I personally am.”

How long can the farmers endure these tariffs?

    “To the death,””

Suicide bombers think they are martyrs too, like this meathead farmer.

Shows you how unknowing and unaware the ignorant are.

Monotheism – the poor mans meal.

That farmer has a lot of control and it’s called voting. Don’t vote for the people who will do you in. Unfortunately, when ordinary people vote for Republicans, they are voting against their best interests. Somewhere as they were growing up, they must have been convinced that it is wrong to vote for the person or party that has your interests at heart. Republicans have never really cared about ordinary people. It’s only during election season that ordinary voters are courted by the GOP and it’s always with the inane shiny objects of “abortion” and “guns.” Once the GOP garners their votes, the poor schmuck voters are tossed aside so that the rich can become richer. But the ordinary GOP voter never learns the lesson.

“The money behind the Kochs’ push to transform education, philanthropy, immigration, health care, tax laws, courts, government regulation, prisons and the economy has long been cloaked in secrecy.

Koch officials have vowed to spend between $300 million and $400 million to shape the 2018 midterm elections. But there’s no way to verify how or where the money is spent because most of its organizations are registered as nonprofit groups, which aren’t required to detail their donors like traditional political action committees.

While they have long been closely aligned with the Republican Party’s far-right flank, they oppose the Trump administration’s policies on spending, trade and immigration.

On Saturday, network leaders seized on Trump’s push to apply billions of dollars in tariffs on America’s top trading partners. The burgeoning trade war has sparked an outcry from business leaders across the nation, and in a new video Charles Koch lashes out at what he calls the “destructive” rise of “protectionism.”””Sen. Reid was always very clear that drawing the Koch brothers out of the shadows was a big part of his strategy,” Jentleson said. “He thought people deserved to know who was behind the dark money. This seems like a recognition that they’re uncomfortable being out front and are scurrying to get back in the shadows.””

“the billionaire brothers flayed the president over his tariffs as well as the “divisiveness” he has brought to the White House that is roiling the markets, with one spokesperson saying, Trump is doing “long-term damage” to the country.”
“According to the report, six months ago the Kochs — Charles and David — were solidity in Trump’s camp as representative’s of the billionaire industrialist lavished praise on the president for passing a tax reform measure that benefited wealthier Americans.

Trump’s trade war with European allies, Canada and China has changed the game for the Kochs, and was reflected in video presentation delivered on Saturday, where Charles Koch warned the current “rise in protectionism” represents a “a natural tendency, but it’s a destructive one.””

“Koch officials called on Washington politicians to strike more bargains and build more coalitions across the aisle, which, they said, the Koch network is working to do on immigration and prison reform.”<RIGHT

    I’d buy postcards of that.

Can Sarah see this from her front porch?

We need to make it so she can!

Rather pathetic what you read on website comments. Marxist universities, my kid came home and no longer talks to me!
They turned him into a socialist! Ban education! Betsy is trying; she had to recover her yacht first.

    • anonymous July 29, 2018 at 9:22 am

Apparently most of the yacht staff needs to be fired.

      Or flogged at the mainmast!

Not sure if this includes the yacht scheduler tho.

PERVERT>”“If they don’t give us the information that we, as a separate and equal branch of government are entitled to have in order to get answers for the American people, then we will actually call to vote for the impeachment of Rod Rosenstein.””
“In his interview Sunday Jordan made the BOGUS claim that his congressional committee “caught the Department of Justice trying to hide information from us, redacting stuff in documents that they should not have redacted.” He then went on to say:

“The House has a constitutional duty to do oversight if the executive branch isn’t going to do that. People should be held in contempt, people should be impeached. That’s why if they don’t give us the information, Mr. Meadows and myself and others are going to force an impeachment vote at some point.””

“Democratic House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi tweeted:

“We see through this. A reason why Republican leaders may have moved to impeach Rod Rosenstein — aside of the fact that they are covering up for Trump — is because Jim Jordan wants to deflect attention away from the OSU investigation.
    7:33 AM – Jul 26, 2018”
