Axios gives long list of items that are likely in Robert Mueller’s “secret files.”

Oh, this is good.

With speculation hot among the president’s legal team that today could be a day for action by Bob Mueller (last working day before Labor Day), remember all the evidence the special counsel has — or could have — that we haven’t seen:

President Trump’s tax returns.

Trump bank records, which are more valuable than tax returns.

Internal Trump Organization records.

More recordings from Michael Cohen.

Cellphone records (metadata showing calls placed/received and duration) related to the Trump Tower meeting.

White House and campaign emails and text messages. (Trump’s legal team said in January that the White House had produced more than 20,000 pages of materials, and the campaign had provided more than 1.4 million pages.)

Contemporaneous notes of White House staffers from meetings with Trump.

A full reconstruction by former national security adviser Michael Flynn, who made a plea deal, of his conversations about Russia and subsequent lies.

Scores of hours of testimony of Trump insiders (including at least 20 White House personnel) about his private dealings, much of which is unknown to POTUS and the public.

National Enquirer files revealed by today’s N.Y. Times: Trump and Cohen “devised a plan to buy up all the dirt on Mr. Trump that the

National Enquirer and its parent company had collected on him, dating back to the 1980s.”

As MSNBC analyst Matt Miller summarized: “Basically, everything!”

Damn! If I were Donald Trump I would be shitting bricks right about now.

Just those tax returns alone are probably enough to send him to prison, and also destroy his lie about being a billionaire.

‘We are in bizarro-land’: CNN panel says it’s very possible Trump leaked his own comments and whined about it

“The general rule here is that Robert Mueller has had access to all of the organizations — and their records and all of the people who work for the organizations — that he has wanted to, almost all, and their recollections,” he explained.

“The president can tweet out ‘no collusion’ or ‘witch hunt,’ but the truth is he actually doesn’t really know that much about what he’s talking about on that,” Wittes noted. “And so it’s a very dangerous game to sort of confidently say that you know there’s nothing there, when you actually have only a little bit of a window into the room.”

Fox News’ Chris Wallace: Trump only has himself to blame for the Mueller probe

On Fox News Friday, anchor Chris Wallace pointed to major flaw in the president’s reasoning.

“You know, things have changed and obviously the decision in the spring of 2017 to recuse himself and everything that has flowed from that has made a big difference,” Wallace said.

“Remember, the recusal of Sessions did not lead to the special counsel. It was the firing of Comey, of James Comey, the FBI director that lead to the appointment of the special counsel,” he pointed out.

“The only person the president can blame for that is himself.”

Giuliani’s writing a report to smear Mueller — on personal stationery

—This is just the latest in a series of desperate maneuvers by Trump and his legal team, who are not very good at hiding how terrified they are of what Mueller will discover and put in his report.

In an absurd attempt to downplay the seriousness of Mueller’s findings, members of Trump’s inner circle have abandoned their initial claims that no collusion or obstruction took place, and are now claiming that it wouldn’t be a crime if it did take place.

Meanwhile, when he’s not ranting on Twitter, Trump is busy begging Attorney General Jeff Sessions to un-recuse himself from the Russia probe, fire Mueller (or prosecute him), and make the big, bad investigation just go away.

Al Sharpton Got A Standing Ovation At Aretha Franklin’s Funeral When He Called Out Trump’s Disrespect

FB>”Watching the dual celebrations for the lives of Aretha Franklin and John McCain, one cannot help but ponder the journey of life. We all most grapple with love, loss, and mortality.
And once again, thoughts turn to poetry, particularly a favorite by Alfred, Lord Tennyson written a few years before his own passing into the great beyond.
      CROSSING THE BAR
      By Alfred, Lord Tennyson
      Sunset and evening star,
And one clear call for me!
And may there be no moaning of the bar,
When I put out to sea,
But such a tide as moving seems asleep,
Too full for sound and foam,
When that which drew from out the boundless deep
      Turns again home.
      Twilight and evening bell,
      And after that the dark!
And may there be no sadness of farewell,
      When I embark;
For tho’ from out our bourne of Time and Place
The flood may bear me far,
I hope to see my Pilot face to face
When I have crost the bar.”

I shudder to think what will happen if Democrats don’t take over the House/Senate in the midterms. The GOP and Trump will be frickin’ unleashed with their draconian actions and think that they got a ‘mandate’ from the American people, like they like to declare. If that happens, we can kiss any progressive progress we’ve made in the last 50+ years and move closer and closer to a full on dictatorship. It’s terrifying what is happening in this country in less than two years with this administration. I hold out hope for Mueller to produce a result that sees Trump and his cabal of criminals pay a price, but if the GOP sits on the results, then what? It’s disheartening to consider that Russia will also be front and center in skewing the elections and also the way that so many voters are being purged, disenfranchised, tricked, manipulated and lied to for these monsters to ‘win’. They cheat every chance they get and it just keeps getting uglier and uglier with no low they won’t stoop to. My heart breaks for what is ahead for all of us.

Mine does as well, and it’s what we’re heading for. I have brought it up here a couple of times, but when he said months ago (paraphrasing), “President Xi is for life. We’re looking into that..,” Holy CRAP.
I am in my 60s, have lived my life comfortably and not in excess, but I am sad for my kids and grandkids that they will never have the life that my husband and I envisioned for them.

Me too. What really concerns me is the reports of how easily are elections can still be hacked, and it seems no one is dong anything about it. Part of me is terrified for November. Surely the Russians are already helping out their number one asset. What can we do to stop election hacking when our own government won’t stop it?

Really? The Democrats could have taken a stand and dragged out judge confirmations but instead they handed Bitch McConnell all of the confirmations FAST TRACKED on a platter so they could bug out early to do some campaigning. For fucking what? So that Fake Justice Kavanaugh can be confirmed next week? Also fast tracked by The Bitch.

The White House is denying 100,000 documents of the 267,000 documents the Bush Administration released on Kavanaugh. That’s over. A third. WHAT IS TRUMP HIDING? What are we going to find out after he’s confirmed? Because you know he will be. And Schumer is just rolling over on everything. Why isn’t he digging in his heels and using ever rule, trick and excuse to delay, delay, delay just like Bitch did with Obama? Because he’s spineless just like the rest of the Dems. Sure, it will all come about but too late to stop the Kavanaugh confirmation. Two FAKE JUSTICES on the bend for life and Merrick Garland robbed of his just and lawful confirmation.

Hope they get rid of Trump soon. My nerves has been on edge since that damned night he got elected in by the Russians.

G, you can guarantee Trump is worth much less than $1 Billion dollars and has very little in the realm of cash reserves. Russia owns his overestimated real estate portfolio as collateral. The only thing he has is his name and a grave he dug for himself when the Russians foreclose.

Net worth = assets – liabilities. It is VERY likely that dump owes various russkies several hundred million (maybe close to a billion) and
HIS asset calculation (in his mind) includes a billion dollar valuation of his name as an asset which is ridiculous.
      Billionaire? Not hardly!

Its mueller time. Active Measures came out today. The Documentary that alarms Americans of the trump and putin crime. It is interesting how the McCain family did not want trump, palin, Nicole Wallace nor steve Schmidt to attend the Senators funeral. Of course all of us here knew the chit going on somewhat.
