So apparently White House spokesperson Sarah Huckabee Sanders is human.

I swear this actually the first time that I saw Sanders as a real person and not some robotic lying machine built to provide cover for Trump’s constant stream of bullshit.

Of course, the really sad part is that this administration is really not going to do a damn thing to keep schoolchildren safe, regardless of how many commissions or committees they form to make it look like they actually care.

“Will be giving a Full Pardon to Dinesh D’Souza today. He was treated very unfairly by our government!” Trump said on Twitter.”
“D’Souza waited to “the last possible moment” prior to trial before admitting guilt, the government said, and then went on television shows and the internet to say he was “selectively” targeted for prosecution, and had little choice but to plead guilty.”

“The president‘s Twitter feed, which has more than 52 million followers”
“In the last few days alone, Trump and his political operation have used his Twitter account to amplify his message, attack his enemies in the press and in the political arena and advance the cause of several Republican candidates.”

There are lots of reasons, including events like this jury “award,” that keep Florida on my states-I-will-never-visit list.

    “This whole thing is fake.”
“White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was asked to provide evidence yesterday to support the “spygate” theory but she couldn’t do it. Her attempts at defending the president have grown lame, which is just one more sign that the entire “spygate” conspiracy theory may be falling apart.

Trump has previously admitted that “spygate” is nothing more than a PR stunt that he is using to divert attention from not only Mueller but also the many other legal problems of himself and his attorney Michael Cohen.”

““It would be suicide for the president to want to talk about firing Mueller.”

The Associated Press today picked up on this story and has an in-depth piece that gives many more details about how Sessions is being protected by Republicans in Washington.”

“Former FBI Director Reportedly Wrote a Secret Memo on How Rosenstein Could Be Cover for Trump Obstruction of Justice”
“A previously unreported memo written by former acting FBI director Andrew McCabe shortly after James Comey’s firing, reported by the New York Times Wednesday, describes private conversations between McCabe and deputy attorney general Rod Rosenstein, adding new detail to the swirl of uncertainty surrounding the dismissal of Comey, as well as potential context for how it might fit into an obstruction of justice case being investigated by Robert Mueller. According to the Times, McCabe turned over his memo to the special counsel.

      From the Times:

In the document… Mr. McCabe described a conversation at the Justice Department with the deputy attorney general, Rod J. Rosenstein, in the chaotic days last May after Mr. Comey’s abrupt firing. Mr. Rosenstein played a key role in the dismissal, writing a memo that rebuked Mr. Comey over his handling of an investigation into Hillary Clinton. But in the meeting at the Justice Department, Mr. Rosenstein added a new detail: He said the president had originally asked him to reference Russia in his memo, the people familiar with the conversation said. Mr. Rosenstein did not elaborate on what Mr. Trump had wanted him to say.

“To Mr. McCabe, that seemed like possible evidence that Mr. Comey’s firing was actually related to the F.B.I.’s investigation into the Trump campaign’s ties to Russia, and that Mr. Rosenstein helped provide a cover story by writing about the Clinton investigation,” the Times reports. “One person who was briefed on Mr. Rosenstein’s conversation with the president said Mr.
Trump had simply wanted Mr. Rosenstein to mention that he was not personally under investigation in the Russia inquiry. Mr. Rosenstein said it was unnecessary and did not include such a reference. Mr. Trump ultimately said it himself when announcing the firing.””

“I kind of understand how the Christians felt when the people in the Coliseum were screaming for the lions to be unleashed,”
” the self-described political “provocateur”—who burst upon the scene as a 19-year-old dirty trickster for President Richard Nixon’s re-election campaign, the youngest person of interest in the Watergate scandal—is in a world of hurt.”
“Stone told The Daily Beast that he’d been saving up for a college fund to benefit his five grandchildren, “but I have been forced to deplete that to pay for legal fees. It will get more expensive as time goes on. I have no choice but to fight—and fight, I will.””
“I will be targeted in an effort to trump-up charges against me to get me to turn on Donald Trump. Not happening… It is now abundantly clear that [Mueller] intends to frame me on some conjured-up, concocted offense in an effort to leverage my testimony against the president of the United States.”

But: “I will never roll on him!”
““I’m sure his lawyers have urged him not to speak to me until the ‘Russia Collusion Delusion’ is resolved,” by way of explaining why his conversations with the president have gone silent in recent months. “But he has sent me warm wishes through mutual friends.””
“He continues to believe that somebody poisoned him last December with a radioactive substance that could have been polonium.”

“The Committee to Protect Journalists post methodically listed the questions ”
“We were told that our colleague had cooperated with a state security service to help prevent “terror attacks” and save some 30 more people from assassins who allegedly were sent by Moscow. That was pretty extraordinary news, and fit into an ugly picture we’ve come to know all too well: the repeated murders of Russian critics of Vladmir Putin, and not only in Ukraine.

But journalistic suspicion of security services runs deep, and Babchenko’s old friends, both in Kiev and Moscow, wondered if the SBU had used him.”
“On Wednesday at the SBU press conference officials announced that the Russian intelligence services working with a local operative had organized the hit on Babchenko and about 30 other exiled dissidents.”
“Before the SBU press conference, Kanygin had arrived in Kiev on Wednesday to investigate his friend’s assassination. ”Here is the main point: if the SBU really have evidenc, that the alleged contract for killing Babchenko came from top Russian officials, they better show it, as otherwise it is unclear why they defrauded the entire world with fake news.””
““All I know for sure is that law enforcement agencies are happy that all media outlets are now busy with the Babchenko story and not the investigation of Michael Cohen and Poroshenko connections or stories about Oleg Sentsov, the Ukrainian film director, who’s been on hunger strike in a Russian prison for more than a week,” Anton Skyba, one of Babchenko’s friends in Kiev, told The Daily Beast.”

I don’t believe her fake tearing up for a second. Until Sarah Huckabee Sanders announces to the White House press corps that she’s leaving her position because she is disgusted with herself for going in front of them every day and lying for her boss and she apologizes for all of the grief that she and her fellow Trump employees have caused the media and the public, I will never feel any sympathy for her. I feel the same way about the third wife, the favored daughter and any other person who is willingly within the Trump orbit.
