Ann Coulter warns that crying children on the border are actors reading from a script.

That is simply disgusting.

Courtesy of TPM:

Conservative commentator Ann Coulter seized on an increasingly routine far-right talking point on Sunday evening by claiming that the migrant children who are being separated from their parents and housed in cages in immigration processing facilities are “child actors.”

During an appearance on Fox News’ “The Next Revolution,” Coulter claimed she read in The New Yorker that immigrant children were being fed “scripts” to make their plight seem more dire and she warned Trump against believing it.

“I would also say one other thing, these child actors weeping and crying on all the other networks 24/7 right now: do not fall for it, Mr. President,” she said, as host Steve Holton attempted to cut her off. “I get very nervous about the president getting his news from TV. … They’re given scripts to read by liberals, according to the New Yorker. Don’t fall for the actor children.”

It is unclear what New Yorker article Coulter was referencing, but The New York Times reported in May that administration officials have claimed that migrant children are being coached on “what to say to make fraudulent claims for asylum,” an argument that advocates have fought, according to the Times.

So those children heard crying in that ProPublica video yesterday were acting?

Meryl Streep is not that good of an actor.

This, of course, is the same tactic that supporters of NRA use to describe child survivors of school shootings and the parents of the deceased.

It is a disgusting lie in those cases, and it is a disgusting lie in this case.

What is wrong with these people?

OT. It is no surprise that Trump and his administration is ripping children from their parents. What is surprising is how immoral and unbelievable the citizens of this county are. Trump’s approval ratings don’t take a hit due to this atrocity, but have actually increased slightly. Un-fucking-believable!

Oh it’s believable, all right! Ever dialed a business and heard “press 1 for English?,” then you have to wait for translated in Spanish?
There’s plenty of people pissed, all right. THIS IS AMERICA, DAMMIT, and off they go.
We just want to plan out summers, go on our vacations, and screw politics. It doesn’t affect ME.
      Remember summer of 2016?

The reason democrats are blamed is GWB put it forth (?) and dem-controlled senate signed it.
PLEASE tell me if I’m wrong??

Have you ever pressed 1 as soon as you heard “English”? On a properly-configured system you should get a welcome surprise. If you want to hear what the other choices are, then by all means listen to them, but if English is your preferred language just go for it.

Oh my, hope you never go to Canada and when everything is written in OMG FRENCH!!!

Only in America is it a sin to speak more than one language, of course we have a president that doesn’t even speak English so what can we expect.

      It’s her “witchiness.”

  6. saved sinner my ass, I'm not 4 anymore June 18, 2018 at 10:03 pm

She thinks evolution is something to believe in or not to believe in, and that Jesus died for her sins, and that all else is secondary to this. Her reality is without any reality. Certainty is not an aspect of the human condition – the image of a savior is representative of certainty to those who have been told they are sinners. We are the eternal in duality, a tension of opposites, an affirmation of life; sin, on the other hand, is a rejection of life. The Fall was from a garden of nonduality, and the apple tree was the tree of knowledge of duality, and the portal to that (NOT BORN OF SIN, BUT OF DESIGN!!!). We are full circle beings, and the eternal is in love, and affirms, the productions of time that we are.

She deserves only pity for her darkness.

PS. “Saved sinners” think that “nonbelievers” are godless atheists. Study what the human is, and see the snake for the skin-shedder it is.

Over 600 United Methodist Church clergy and laity have brought charges against Jeff Sessions under church law — he’s a Methodist.

Maybe it’s time for the Pope to excommunicate Ann the Man. Paul Ryan, too.

@saved sinner my ass, I’m not 4 anymore No, Coulter is the actor who wants her fans – the dozen or so left, to beleive she thinks that. Menawhile, she just rakes in the dough and buys more fentanyl and files her teeth and nails to points. If you ever want to know what Lucifer’s bride looks like, there she sits.

  9. whatevs June 19, 2018 at 5:19 am

Coulter is not Catholic; Ryan is and yes, the Pope should.

If this horrible woman ever comes face to face with Jesus, she is going to be in for a big surprise! I absolutely do not know how a professed “Christian” can justify this behavior.

    • Anonymous June 19, 2018 at 1:31 pm

Jesus doesn’t reside in HELL so I doubt they will ever come face to face.
