Rudy Giuliani to @GStephanopoulos: “The reality is that there are biases that have to be explored surrounding Mueller…this is the most corrupt investigation I have ever seen” https://t.co/IK2UIiHS5f #ThisWeek pic.twitter.com/6yHG4LJgmL

Courtesy of Slate:
The president’s top lawyer doubled down on criticism of special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe, calling it “the most corrupt investigation I have ever seen.”
“We’ve been through everything on collusion and obstruction,” Giuliani said on ABC’s This Week. “We can’t find an incriminating anything, and we need a basis for this investigation.”
They can’t find an incriminating anything the same way a mob hitman cannot see any evidence of a murder on his bloody shoes.
Giuliani also went on CNN where he claimed once again that they could find no factual basis for the Mueller investigation.

Seriously? I can see evidence to suggest the need for this investigation from space.
Perhaps if he did not run around with his head so far up Trump’s ass all the time Rudy could see it too.
Giuliani also made an appearance on Meet the Press where he claimed that he was all for Trump’s former attorney Michael Cohen testifying to the special counsel investigators.
CHUCK: “Are you concerned that Michael Cohen is going to start cooperating with the Feds?”
RUDY GIULIANI: “No. In fact, you know, if he wants to cooperate, I think it’s great.”#MTP pic.twitter.com/owswmFziR6

Giuliani also dismissed the idea that Trump’s team was worried that the president’s longtime personal lawyer would cooperate with the probe. “If he wants to cooperate, I think it’s great,” Giuliani said. “We’ve been through all his records. I know Michael. He has no evidence of, nor was he involved in anything untoward, with the president.” When asked specifically whether Giuliani wanted Cohen to cooperate, the former New York mayor said “Yes. Because it’s going to lead to nothing.” In the end, “Michael has been a victim here like a lot of other people.”
Wait, so Trump WANTS Cohen to testify?
That is so crazy that even Michael Cohen’s new attorney, Lanny Davis, felt the need to chime in.
Did @rudygiuliani really say on Sunday shows that @michaelcohen212 should cooperate with prosecutors and tell the truth? Seriously? Is that Trump and Giuliani definition of “truth”? Trump/Giuliani next to the word “truth” = oxymoron. Stay tuned. #thetruthmatters

Considering that Lanny Davis has undoubtedly by now debriefed Michael Cohen about what he knows it does not sound as if he shares Giuliani’s attitude that the information cannot harm Donald Trump.
At this point, it just feels as if the Trump camp is playing a game of chicken with Mueller and his investigators, and are planning to just speed ahead with their eyes closed and hope that they somehow emerge unscathed on the other side.
I look forward to the inevitable fiery crash.
